Position

The alpine hut is in a secluded location, at the foot of the Gritschenberg, on a sunny plateau, with a fantastic view of the local mountain Grimming and the upper Ennstal. Visit our tame ostriches in the enclosure behind the hut. Perhaps there are young chicks to admire? The largest birds on earth grow up to 3 m tall and feel very comfortable in our climatic conditions in summer and winter.

Niederöblarn 2.5 km, snack bar 2.5 km, Galsterberg ski area 19 km. The hut is in an ideal location: the Hauser Kaibling - Planai - Hochwurzen ski area (ski amadé) is 25 km away and can be easily reached by car in 20 minutes via a paved, cleared road. Tauplitzalm 16 km and can be reached in 15 minutes, Donnersbachwald 25 km. Grimming Therme Bad Mitterndorf 23 km. Golf 8 km. Putterer See 12 km. From the hut you can go on wonderful hikes or bike tours into the Ennstal or the beautiful side valleys with their countless hiking routes and managed alpine pastures.

The cabin has been newly renovated inside. On one floor you will find the cozy, bright cabin room with a large seating area, perfectly equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven, dishwasher, wood stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster and small bar. 1 double room, 1 triple room, 1 quadruple room (double bed + pull-out couch if required). 1 shower, 1 toilet. Satellite TV in every room and WiFi available. Heating with wood stove, underfloor heating. In the side extension is your own sauna! In front of the cabin there is a sun terrace with seating and grill. There is also a small playground and a fenced-in pond. There is a fireplace on the large lawn. Behind the cabin is the enclosure with around 14 ostriches.

Position

The hut is located in Styria, at the foot of the Lachtal valley, on a 3ha alpine meadow, with a large fish pond (high season), isolated.

Distances

The Lachtal ski area can be reached on skis via the ski route (1km) when there is enough snow, otherwise 1km by car. Shops and restaurants 1km during the season, otherwise about 15km to Oberwölz, cross-country ski trail in the immediate vicinity, toboggan run 2km, swimming lake 5km. Healing tunnel for asthma sufferers 15km. In summer, the Lachtal delights with its pleasant altitude, the vastness of the hiking area and routes for every hiking desire. The Lachtal 6-seater chairlift takes you up to 2,000m above sea level. The mountain station is the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes, be it a summit tour or a ridge hike with a wonderful panoramic view.

Position

On an area of 24,000 m², seven comfortable large huts (SEP-STM) for up to 24 people and six luxurious smaller huts (SPA-STM) for up to 12 people were built, as well as a reception hut with an apartment (APA-STM) for up to 10 people on the upper floor and a shop on the ground floor (open during peak season) with bread roll service, WiFi, drinks, baked goods, groceries, cigarettes. The huts are in a very quiet and sunny location on a high plateau with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and the Ennstal.

Distances

The huts are in the middle of the family-friendly Galsterberg ski and hiking area, 5 km above the town of Pruggern. Accessible by car all year round. Pruggern is in the Ennstal, about 14 km from Schladming and only 100 km from the festival city of Salzburg. There is a small shop in the town, otherwise a supermarket is 10 km away. The Galsterberg ski area offers 20 km of wide, perfectly groomed slopes and is part of the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise with 86 cable cars and lifts and 152 km of groomed slopes and is also a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760 km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). The Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise is 10 km away from Haus im Ennstal. The 5 km long, illuminated natural toboggan run (one of the longest in Austria) runs past the huts! Ski school with childcare 300 m down the valley at the valley station, easily accessible on skis. Of course there is also the option of cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking, horse-drawn sleigh rides. Riding stables and tennis in the village. In front of the sun terrace of the reception hut there is a 250 m² swimming pond for splashing and playing and a small playground. Table tennis available. Otherwise there is a swimming lake 10 km away, golf 15 km away or rafting 15 km away! High ropes course with team course 13 km away. Direct access to the Alpentour Steiermark cycle path possible! Wonderful hiking trails to managed alpine pastures from the house! Charging station for your electric car (22kw, type 2) on site!

Furnishing

You will occupy the entire upper floor of the reception hut. The shop on the ground floor is usually open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the high season. The rest of the time you are completely alone in the house. Here you will find 3 bedrooms for 2-4 people each, each with a double bed and pull-out couch (160x200cm). 1 bathroom with shower/toilet. Spacious living room with comfortable couch corner with satellite TV, WiFi. Dining table, kitchen corner with electric stove, oven, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave. Beer tap (for those kegs that are available on site). High chair and cot (folding travel cot 60x120cm) available on request. Small ski depot with electric boot dryer. The apartment has a seating area with a grill outside, by the pond. We ask that you do not smoke in the apartment.

Position

This hut is located about 4 km from the town of Donnersbachwald, a romantic mountain village with many leisure activities in both winter and summer. Below the hut is a rarely inhabited farmhouse, otherwise a quiet, secluded location. Behind the hut is an alpine pasture with cows and calves. 

Distances

Next town Donnersbachwald 4km, with shops, restaurants, leisure park, swimming lake, tennis court. The Riesneralm ski area with 30km of groomed slopes, snow park, ski school and ski kindergarten is 4km away. The Riesneralm is an insider tip for families. 5ha of slopes and 5 slopes just for children! Modern snowmaking systems, a race track and the extensive free-ride area round off the offer. Hiking trails directly from the hut. In summer, take the Riesneralm cable car to visit the new summit adventure pool with an infinity pool at 1,900 meters! Come on a treasure hunt up to the summit plateau, where a high seas seat with a raft and a barefoot path await.

The hut is completely isolated, with a wonderful view, surrounded by meadows above the town of Stein an der Enns with a view of the Enns Valley and the Dachstein-Tauern region.

Distances

Stein town for shopping 2.5km, signposted hiking trail directly from the hut. The hut is located in the middle of the "Sölktäler Nature Park". This alpine nature park offers numerous mountain lakes and managed alpine pastures on an area of 277km2. Here you will find educational trails, guided hikes, a nature museum and numerous cultural events. Cross-country ski trail 3km, Dachstein-Tauern ski area 12km, tennis court 4.5km, Aich bathing lake 10km.

The hut is located on the edge of a large meadow, on a sunny plateau, with a wide view, as the outermost of 5 huts that are not very often inhabited. Very quiet, away from roads and traffic, ideal for children!

Nearest town Preg 5km or St. Stefan ob Leoben 7km. Gaaler Lifte ski area 30km, Präbichl or Obdach ski areas 45km each. Marked hiking trails from the hut, swimming pond 8km away.

Position

The hut is located in the middle of the Loferer Alm, right in the ski and hiking area. In summer it can be reached by car (1x toll), in winter via the gondola and a 5-minute walk uphill from the mountain station. If required, the landlord will bring your luggage from the valley station to the hut.

Lofer town for shopping 7km, ski area right in front of the hut, high-altitude cross-country skiing trail in front of the hut, hiking trails from the hut, serviced huts within walking distance. The Loferer Alm offers wonderful refreshment in summer: 2 mountain lakes on the Alm invite you to cool off! Loferer Almsee 500m below. Tip: The waterfall path leads down to the middle station of the cable car and offers 12 tingling stations. You hike through shady forest and along roaring waterfalls and if you're too tired you can take the cable car back to the Alm! You can cycle to the Steinplatte and Winklmoosalm on a mountain bike or e-bike!

The hut is located in the middle of Salzburger Land, about 1 km above the mountain village of Alpendorf, alone, surrounded by meadows with a wonderful view of the Salzach Valley. Alpendorf belongs to the town of St. Johann and in winter is the first entry point to the top ski area Ski Amadé. The most modern cable cars lead to Austria's largest ski area, cross-country skiers can expect trails in the Salzach Valley, as well as a 3 km long high-altitude trail at 1,600 m. An illuminated toboggan run and the Alpendorf Active Club's program round off the varied offering. In summer, tennis courts, the famous Liechtenstein Gorge, the gondolas on Gernkogel or Geisterberg, many hiking and biking trails to managed huts, as well as numerous attractions from climbing walls to go-cart tracks are all tempting.

Die Hütte liegt außerdem am Beginn des Großarltals, dem „Tal der Almen“. Die Hütte ist somit auch der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Position

In a completely secluded location, on a sunny slope, about 3km above the town of Viehhofen, in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski area. In summer there are sheep and horses on the mountain pasture. Access via a 3km long, asphalt road (in winter chains) up to 300m to the Hecherhütte, then a gravel road to the hut. The hut is 300m from the slope to Viehhofen. You ski from the hut down the slope (piste no. 68/Hecherhütte) to the town, from there a ski bus connection to the lifts (approx. 5km).

You are in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski circus! Village of Viehhofen 3.5km, ski school 3.5km. Saalbach 12km, serviced hut with summer swimming pool 300m, toboggan run 8km. Cross-country ski trail 5km. Mountain bike routes and long hiking trails from the hut! Zell am See 12km.
