Position

The hut is located in the middle of the Loferer Alm, right in the ski and hiking area. In summer it can be reached by car (1x toll), in winter via the gondola and a 5-minute walk uphill from the mountain station. If required, the landlord will bring your luggage from the valley station to the hut.

Distances

Lofer town for shopping 7km, ski area right in front of the hut, high-altitude cross-country skiing trail in front of the hut, hiking trails from the hut, serviced huts within walking distance. The Loferer Alm offers wonderful refreshment in summer: 2 mountain lakes on the Alm invite you to cool off! Loferer Almsee 500m below. Tip: The waterfall path leads down to the middle station of the cable car and offers 12 tingling stations. You hike through shady forest and along roaring waterfalls and if you're too tired you can take the cable car back to the Alm! You can cycle to the Steinplatte and Winklmoosalm on a mountain bike or e-bike! 

Furnishing

The hut has a rustic, cozy living room with a seating area by the wood stove, satellite TV, ladder access to the low attic (max. height 1.20), where there is a room for up to 4 people. 2 double rooms. Kitchen with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, dishwasher. Shower, toilet, sauna. Heating with wood stove and electric. In front of the hut there is a seating area with a wide view, grill, fountain.

Additional costs on site subject to minor changes

Electricity € 0.50/kwh, local tax currently € 1.70/person/night, final cleaning € 25, pet € 35, bed linen € 9, towels € 5 can be rented. Luggage transport if required € 30 per trip.
