Position

The apartment is located in a building similar to a wooden box in the middle of the Styrian countryside on the Planneralm. The modern building with a total of 12 apartments was planned and built as part of an architectural competition. The large windows make you feel at one with the nature outside. You live in the highest mountain village in Styria, the access to the house is asphalted, and you can park your car directly in front of the house.

The Planneralm is the highest ski and mountain village in Styria and is located in Upper Styria. The Planneralm ski area is only 150m away. In winter, the region offers 100% guaranteed snow with a unique natural snow concept. Not only families with children feel at home here, the freerider scene also finds fun off the beaten track. The ski area offers 5 lifts and 16 km of slopes. In summer, the Planneralm is transformed into a natural power place with many quiet hiking trails for true mountain lovers. The lifts are not in operation in summer. Secure your place at an altitude of 1,600 meters for fun, relaxation and nature experiences for the whole family. Comfortable hiking trails to managed alpine pastures directly from the house, panoramic lake path to the lake. There are signposted running trails throughout the area. Balance course for children in the village. Shops in Donnersbach in 16km, Irdning 17km, town of Schladming 50km, Planneralm ski school on site, sports shop on site. 

Furnishing

There are a total of 12 identical apartments on 2 floors in the house. One apartment offers space for 1 to 5 or 6 people on around 41m2. There is a kitchen with an electric stove (2 hotplates), mini oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, kettle. Right next to it is a double bed. 1 room with either 2 bunk beds or bunk and loft beds. 1 shower, 1 toilet. Wi-Fi, TV available. We ask you not to smoke in the apartment. Also common for everyone: lounge with couch and play area. This room is also often used as a seminar room. Finnish sauna for 6-8 people for self-service (main sauna times 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.) with relaxation room, shower, toilet. Shoe dryer room, ski storage room. Bed linen/towel set available, price includes €85 final cleaning.

Position

The hut is in an absolutely idyllic location in the Styrian Sölktal, a side valley of the Ennstal. On the edge of the forest, by a stream, surrounded by meadows, forest and nature. There is a sparsely inhabited hut nearby, otherwise it is isolated. You can really relax here, there is no internet and cell phone reception only extends up to about 7km into the valley.

Distances

Next larger town Stein an der Enns 20km, Potzalm alpine pasture 3km. Hikes to the Schwarzensee, with some alpine pastures directly from the hut. The area is wonderful for mountain biking! Tip for sporty types: from the hut along the Tuchmoarbach, up to the Hohensee and over to St. Nikolai. There you get on the valley bus, which takes you back to the Kleinsölktal. The 4km route from the hut to the valley bus station is relatively flat, but you could also do it by car. In winter, four-wheel drive and chains are recommended!

Furnishing

The small hut has a large, comfortable room with a seating area, wood stove, oven, 1 double bed. Well and running water in front of the hut, lighting with kerosene lamps or candles, no electricity. Outhouse. In front of the hut there is a garden with seating and a barbecue area by the stream. Please bring your own bed linen/towels.

Position

On an area of 24,000 m² there are seven comfortable large huts (type SEP-STM) for up to 24 people and six luxurious smaller huts (type SPA-STM) for up to 12 people, as well as a reception hut with an apartment (APA-STM) for up to 10 people on the upper floor and a shop on the ground floor (open during peak season) with bread roll service, drinks, baked goods, groceries, cigarettes. The huts are in a very quiet and sunny location on a high plateau with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, the Ennstal and the Dachstein.

Distances

The huts are in the middle of the family-friendly Galsterberg ski and hiking area, 5km above the town of Pruggern. Accessible by car all year round. Pruggern is in the Ennstal, about 14km from Schladming and only 100km from the festival city of Salzburg. Village shop in Pruggern, supermarket 10km away. The Galsterberg ski area offers 20km of wide, perfectly groomed slopes and is part of the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise with 86 cable cars and lifts and 152km of groomed slopes and is also a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). Access to the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise from Haus im Ennstal in 10km. The 5km long illuminated natural toboggan run (one of the longest in Austria) runs past the huts! Ski school with childcare 300m down the valley from the valley station, easily accessible on skis. Alpine hut near the gondola, après ski in winter, pizzeria in summer: Happyalm. Of course there is also the possibility of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides. Riding stables and tennis in the village. In front of the sun terrace of the Versorgerhütte there is a 250m2 swimming pond for splashing and playing and a small playground. Table tennis available. The cabins are built entirely from wood and are very comfortable and extremely cosy. Ground floor: Large cabin room (approx. 30m²) with upholstered seating area, satellite TV, WiFi, DVD/CD player, couch and fireplace. The indirect lighting and the chopped old wood create a homely atmosphere. Perfectly equipped kitchen corner with electric stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, beer tap (for those barrels that are available on site). High chair and cot (folding travel bed 60x120cm) available on request. Exit to the sun terrace with bench and grill. Bathroom with sauna, 2 showers and whirlpool. 1 toilet. First floor: 2 double rooms, 2 bedrooms for 2-4 people each with 1 double bed and pull-out couch (160x200cm), 2 shower/toilet, 1 toilet. Central heating, some with underfloor heating. Position

The small, rustic alpine hut is completely isolated and absolutely quiet, surrounded by forests and meadows, 4 km from the town of St. Jakob/Breitenau. Due to the hillside location, you can enjoy a fantastic view from the hut as far as Carinthia in clear weather! In summer, mother cows and their calves graze around the hut.

Der nächste Ort ist St. Jakob/Breitenau in 4km mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gasthöfen, das nächste Gasthaus in 2,5km. St. Jakob/Breitenau liegt eingebettet zwischen dem 1.722m hohen Hochlantsch und den Fischbacher Alpen. Die Gemeinde gehört zur Naturparkregion Almenland. Die 15km entfernte Teichalm bildet mit der Sommeralm das größte zusammenhängende Niedrigalm-Weidegebiet Europas, mit zahlreichen Wanderwegen. Auch im Winter ist die Teichalm/Sommeralm mit seinen insgesamt drei Skiliften, einem Zauberteppich, einem Babylift und einer Rodelbahn für Jung und Alt ein nettes Ausflugsziel. Tipp: Auf dem Weg zur Teichalm besuchen Sie den Waldpark Hochreiter! Etwas weiter entfernt, in 50km befindet sich ein außerordentliches Naturjuwel: der „Grüne See“, er ist in ca. 45 min erreichbar und zu jeder Jahreszeit sehenswert. Im Süden, in 40km, findet man das Freilichtmuseum Stübing. Mit rund 100 historischen Hauslandschaften sieht und lernt man Geschichte aus 6 Jahrhunderten. Weiter in 50km kommt man in die Stadt Graz.

The rustic hut has a cozy living room with a seating area. Wood stove with oven for cooking, washing up, tiled stove and couch. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs in the staircase there are 2 single beds, behind them a double room. Heating with tiled stove, hot water via wood stove, no electricity, kerosene light. Small garden in front of the hut, sun terrace under the hut, fireplace, seating area with a wonderful view! Wood provided, bring your own bed linen.

Very sunny and quiet, away from traffic, in the middle of meadows, with a wonderful view and directly in the skiing and hiking area. Above is the landlord's 2nd hut (NER-STM) and 2 huts for private use, otherwise a wonderful secluded location with a view over the meadows. Access approx. 1 km via forest road.

Distances

The nearest slope, which leads to the Lachtal ski area, is about 30 m away. Shop 2 km, inn 1 km (in season), otherwise the nearest town 10 km. Cross-country ski trail and toboggan run in the immediate vicinity. Ski rental can be arranged on site. In summer, ideal for mountain bikers, extensive hikes to serviced huts from the house! The hut is located in the middle of the Styrian pine country, about 10 km from Obdach and about 1.5 km from St. Wolfgang, accessed via a flat gravel road. It is located in a forest clearing, completely isolated, in absolute peace and quiet with a view of nature.

Distances

The next town, St. Wolfgang, is an idyllic mountain village. It is an ideal starting point for mountain and ski tours in the Zirbitzkogel massif and the Seetal Alps with numerous marked hiking trails and serviced huts. There are 3 ski lifts in St. Wolfgang, otherwise the Klippitztörl ski area is 40 km away. Thermal baths 25 km away

Distances

Nearest larger town for shopping is Murau 10km, swimming pond 6km, ski areas Grebenzen 10km, Kreischberg 20km. Hiking trails and mountain bike trails from the hut. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt in Murau, the largest adventure center for wood. Here you can take part in wood walks in the summer months.

The hut has been renovated to be very comfortable. Ground floor: living room with seating area, wood stove, oven, small electric stove with 2 plates, refrigerator, dishwasher. Living room with cozy tiled stove and seating area, satellite TV. Stairs to the upper floor, where there is a four-bed room on the left and right under the roof (1x 2 double beds, 1x 4 single beds).
