Position

The hut is located in Styria, at the foot of the Lachtal valley, on a 3ha alpine meadow, with a large fish pond (high season), isolated.

Distances

The Lachtal ski area can be reached on skis via the ski route (1km) when there is enough snow, otherwise 1km by car. Shops and restaurants 1km during the season, otherwise about 15km to Oberwölz, cross-country ski trail in the immediate vicinity, toboggan run 2km, swimming lake 5km. Healing tunnel for asthma sufferers 15km. In summer, the Lachtal delights with its pleasant altitude, the vastness of the hiking area and routes for every hiking desire. The Lachtal 6-seater chairlift takes you up to 2,000m above sea level. The mountain station is the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes, be it a summit tour or a ridge hike with a wonderful panoramic view.

Ground floor: The rustic hut has a living room with kitchenette with electric stove, wood stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, seating area, couch, radio, satellite TV. 1 four-bed room. Bathroom with shower/toilet. First floor: 3 double rooms, one of which has 2 extra beds on request. 1 toilet. The fully automatic electric heating provides cozy warmth without any effort around the clock, and the wood stove in the living room with free firewood also creates a crackling atmosphere. Hot water boiler. Seating area in front of the hut, grill. Bring your own bed linen and towels.
