Position

The hut is located in the middle of Salzburger Land, about 1 km above the mountain village of Alpendorf, alone, surrounded by meadows with a wonderful view of the Salzach Valley. Alpendorf belongs to the town of St. Johann and in winter is the first entry point to the top ski area Ski Amadé. The most modern cable cars lead to Austria's largest ski area, cross-country skiers can expect trails in the Salzach Valley, as well as a 3 km long high-altitude trail at 1,600 m. An illuminated toboggan run and the Alpendorf Active Club's program round off the varied offering. In summer, tennis courts, the famous Liechtenstein Gorge, the gondolas on Gernkogel or Geisterberg, many hiking and biking trails to managed huts, as well as numerous attractions from climbing walls to go-cart tracks are all tempting. 

Distances

Die Hütte liegt einfach ideal. Skipiste, die zum Skigebiet Alpendorf-Wagrain-Flachau (Ski Amadé) führt, 250m oberhalb. Das Alpendorf erreichen Sie entweder zu Fuß (500m) oder mit PKW (1,5km). Das Alpendorf liegt nicht nur im Skigebiet Snow Space Salzburg, es ist zudem Teil von Österreichs größtem Skivergnügen Ski amadé mit 270 Seilbahnen, 760 Pistenkilometern und mehr als 260 Skihütten. Das Alpendorf bietet Aprés Ski, gehobene Gastronomie, Geschäfte. Im Sommer gehts direkt vom Alpendorf mit der Gondelbahn hinauf auf den Geisterberg. Hier gibt es für Kinder vier Erlebniswelten zu endecken! Die Großen finden in herrlicher Panoramalage ein Wander- und Naturerlebnis der besonderen Art. Schwimmbad 4km, Badesee 10km. Wander- und Bikewege ab Hütte. Die Stadt Sankt-Johann in 4,5km ist eine sehr attraktive und traditionsreiche Urlaubsdestination. Hier finden Sie Geschäfte, Restaurants, Cafes, Unterhaltung. Die Hütte liegt außerdem am Beginn des Großarltals, dem „Tal der Almen“. Die Hütte ist somit auch der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren. Wer es gemütlich mag fährt eine Etappe des Tauernradweges, Sportler radeln auf markierten Wegen hinauf zu den Almen. Radverleih im Ort. Stadt Salzburg 50 Autominuten.

Furnishing

The cabin has a living room on the ground floor with a seating area, kitchenette with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, TV and exit to the sun terrace. 1 bedroom with bunk bed and passage to bedroom with double bed and bunk bed. Shower/toilet. Basement: 1 large double room with double bed and if required bunk bed (extra bed), shower, toilet and exit to the outside. In front of the cabin there is a meadow and sun terrace with a wide view. Wi-Fi available.

Electricity € 0.30/kwh, local tax currently € 2/person/night, final cleaning € 60. Deposit € 200. Extra bed € 18/night. Please bring your own bed linen and towels!
