Position

Tauplitz is known for its fairytale winter landscape, cozy ski huts and wonderful sunny location. The hut is completely alone, in the middle of the ski and hiking area, 42 kilometers of slopes, ski schools, hiking and bike trail network right outside the door! In summer, access with your own car (toll fee). In winter, you can drive to the valley station of the Mitterstein gondola lift and there is a parking lot there. (Fee as of 2023: approx. € 30 / week). The hut is located below the middle station, accessible via a short descent or on foot via the slope. The landlord can help with luggage transport with the Skidoo (fee € 40). You can also drive up to the Schönialm, which is about 250m below (toll road and parking fee € 30 / week). From here, luggage/passenger transport with a snowcat (for a fee of approx. € 80) from 5 p.m. after the slopes close.

Ski and hiking area directly in front of the hut, ski school at the gondola, winter hiking trail at the gondola mountain station, Bad Mitterndorf 8km, Tauplitz 14km, Bad Aussee 25km. Managed alpine pasture in winter 250m. In summer you are in the middle of the Tauplitzalm hiking area with its 6 crystal-clear mountain lakes and numerous managed alpine pastures. Tip: cycle downhill on the Tauplitzalmstraße to Bad Mitterndorf, along the Salzkammergut cycle path to Tauplitz, take the cable car up (free bike transport) and across the sunny plateau, past huts and mountain lakes back to the hut.

You live on the first floor: here you enter the hut into a living room with a seating area, fireplace, satellite TV and kitchenette with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle. 2 double rooms, 1 shower/toilet. Heating with wood stove and electric. In front of the hut there is a seating area with a grill and deck chairs. On the ground floor there is an empty stable. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic view from the Dachstein over the Grimming to the ridge in unique peace and quiet.

Sie liegen auf einem Hochplateau, an der Bergstation der Gondelbahn, direkt an der Piste und Rodelbahn, gegenüber dem Kinderland und der Skischule. Genießen Sie autofreies „winterwonderland“! Im Winter sind die Hütten bequem über die Gondelbahn (auch mit Kleinkind, Rodel oder Kinderwagen) erreichbar. Ihr PKW bleibt am Parkplatz neben der Talstation (gratis). Von der Bergstation wird Ihnen das Gepäck direkt zur Hütte gebracht. Tipp: beim Kauf einer Mehrtageskarte (ab 3Tage) ist die An- und Areise am Samstag inklusive. Im Sommer kann man über die 5 km lange Bergstraße, die im Winter zur Rodelbahn genutzt wird, direkt zufahren.

Die Hütten sind direkt im familienfreundlichen Ski- und Wandergebiet Galsterberg, rund 10 km oberhalb von Pruggern im Ennstal. Das Skigebiet Galsterberg ist Mitglied von Ski Amadé, die Skischaukel Schladming-Dachstein erreichen Sie ab Talstation Pruggern in 9 km. Gasthaus mit Sonnenterrasse (nur Winterbetrieb) 50 m, Kinderland mit Spielplatz 50 m, Skischulsammelplatz direkt gegenüber. Brötchenservice können Sie an der Rezeption bestellen und dann von der Gondelbahn in nur 20m abholen. Die 5 km lange, beleuchtete Rodelbahn startet direkt vor den Hütten. Rodelverleih am Gasthof. Die Gondel fährt im Winter täglich von 8:30 – 16:15 und von Ende Dezember bis März auch Dienstag, Donnerstag, Samstag abends 19:00 – 21:30. Romantischer Winterwanderweg direkt ab Hütte. Im Sommer genießen Sie die Natur auf 1.600 m. Die Gondelbahn fährt im Sommer nicht, die Hütten sind direkt mit PKW erreichbar. Bewirtschaftete Hütte 1 km oberhalb. Weite Wanderungen ab Hütte. Furnishing

The five huts are built in a modern style. From the entrance hall with ski boot dryer you enter the basement. Here you will find 2 double rooms with shower/WC and 1 room with bunk bed, as well as the pine sauna. On the upper floor there is a double room with shower/WC right next to the living room. In the spacious attic you can enjoy the view of the mountain landscape through the large panoramic windows, and you can see the sun rising from the couch corner. The cozy parlor has a seating area by the fireplace, a kitchenette with bar, equipped with electric stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, large dining table. From the living room you come to the covered terrace, where you also have a large table and a kettle grill. The beds are made of pine wood, directly from the region. The sloping roof is covered with pine wood and gives the hut a homely scent. Ski room, WiFi, satellite TV available. Central heating air heat pump. We ask that you do not smoke in the huts! Position

The hut is located in the middle of the Loferer Alm, right in the ski and hiking area. In summer it can be reached by car (1x toll), in winter via the gondola and a 5-minute walk uphill from the mountain station. If required, the landlord will bring your luggage from the valley station to the hut.

Distances

Lofer town for shopping 7km, ski area right in front of the hut, high-altitude cross-country skiing trail in front of the hut, hiking trails from the hut, serviced huts within walking distance. The Loferer Alm offers wonderful refreshment in summer: 2 mountain lakes on the Alm invite you to cool off! Loferer Almsee 500m below. Tip: The waterfall path leads down to the middle station of the cable car and offers 12 tingling stations. You hike through shady forest and along roaring waterfalls and if you're too tired you can take the cable car back to the Alm! You can cycle to the Steinplatte and Winklmoosalm on a mountain bike or e-bike!

Position

Directly on the ski slope, near the middle station of the gondola lift and in the middle of the Loferer Alm hiking area, isolated, with a wide panoramic view of the village and the surrounding mountains. In winter, the gondola lift takes you up to the house, which stops about 150m above the house - so it is also easily accessible for non-skiers. In summer, or depending on the snow conditions, the house can be reached directly by car.

The hut is completely isolated, in absolute peace and quiet, in the middle of the Salzburger Lungau Biosphere Park, in the beautiful Schönfeld high valley. Here, surrounded by the Nockberge mountains, nestled in the border triangle of Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia, you can really switch off. In summer it can be reached by car, in winter the hut can be reached up to 500m via a footpath along the cross-country ski trail.

In winter, Schönfeld is a real natural snow paradise thanks to its sunny location! The lift 1km away is ideal for children! The 20km long, perfectly groomed high-altitude cross-country ski trail runs right past the hut! The snowy landscape is wonderful for walking or for ski tourers. Innerkrems ski area 5km, St. Margarethen 17km. In summer, the high valley offers numerous hiking trails and is also an Eldorado for mountain bikers!
