Position

In a wonderful, secluded location, in the picturesque Hollersbachtal, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the west of Salzburg. As a tenant, you are allowed to drive into the valley in your own car, and visitors can hike from the beginning of the valley from the inn at the reservoir along the interesting stream educational trail to the managed alpine pastures. 

Distances

Hollersbach town with shop, restaurants 6km. Serviced hut where you can fortify yourself with an alpine snack 500m. (E-bike charging station). Around mid-May - early September the cows are on the mountain pastures, they come to the barn in the morning and evening to be milked, which is located diagonally below the hut. Then the farmer is happy to deliver fresh rolls, milk, eggs, butter or bacon in the morning! While the cows are being milked, you can charge batteries (generator). A stream meanders through the wide Tauern valley, the path is not steep and therefore ideal for cyclists. There are also challenging hiking trails from the hut to the largest mountain lake in the Hohe Tauern, the Kratzenbergsee. Lakeside inn 6km. The panorama cable car runs from Hollersbach! You can cycle from the hut through the valley directly to the valley station 7.5km away and float in just 12 minutes at an altitude of 1892m to the Kitzbühel area! Hollersbach bathing lake with large playground 6km, Zell am See 35km, Krimml Waterfalls 30km. You can also fish in the reservoir (map available on site)

The hut has on the ground floor: large entrance hall (ideal for bikes), hut room with seating area and wood stove, oven, gas stove (2 burners), gas refrigerator. Bathroom with tub and toilet. Hot water on the ground floor via boiler, which is heated with wood (enough once a day). First floor: 1 double room with couch if required, 1 double room that can be walked through to a room with double bed and bunk bed. All rooms have sinks (cold water). No electricity, gas light. In front of the house: seating area with a wonderful view of the valley and the impressive mountain walls, grill, fountain.

Bad Reichenhall thermal baths 16km, mountain bike rental 5km. The hut is the ideal starting point for trips to Salzburg, neighboring Tyrol or Bavaria!

Position

The hut is in a wonderful, secluded location and is in absolute silence, with a wide view, about 2 km above Lake Preber. It can be reached via a 1.5 km long forest road (in winter with four-wheel drive/chains).

Distances

The 5.5 hectare Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 2km away, very nice circular hiking trail around the lake, start of the mountain bike Preber tour from the hut! Serviced hut on the lake with local cuisine 2km, in summer many alpine pastures are also serviced. Next big town Tamsweg 11km. Speiereck ski area 20km.

The cabin has a very cozy living room on the ground floor, which is built around the large stove, which is also used for cooking. Kitchen area with refrigerator, sink, coffee machine. Cozy seating area with stove bench, exit to the covered terrace with a wonderful view. Shower/toilet. Sauna (accessible from outside). First floor: Stairs directly into the triple room (double bed, single bed), passageway to a small double room and passageway to a twin room with an extra bed (approx. 170cm long) with balcony! Above the town of Lofer, standing alone on a large meadow, above the road, with a beautiful view. If there is enough snow, there is a descent to the hut from the ski area. If there is enough snow, you can ski down from the hut to the ski bus station.

Lofer town for shopping with restaurants, swimming pool, bike rental, tennis 1.5km. Fresh farm products/farm sales available 300m away. Lofer ski area 1km. Waidring bathing lake 10km, hiking and cycling trails directly from the house! The Loferer Alm offers wonderful refreshment in summer: 2 mountain lakes on the Alm invite you to cool off! The waterfall trail offers 12 sparkling stations and leads through shady forest and along roaring waterfalls up to the Alm.

Position

The alpine hut is located together with a few temporarily inhabited huts above the municipality of Maria Alm, in the middle of an alpine area. Situated on a plateau, you have a fantastic view of the Steinernes Meer and Hochkönig mountain ranges. The alpine hut can be reached directly via a 5km long farm track (gravel road). 

Distances

Maria Alm 8 km. There are grocery stores, restaurants and various leisure activities. For a leisurely shopping trip, Saalfelden is recommended at 13 km. The nearest inn is 5 km away. Swimming pool and tennis courts are around 9 km away, golf is 10 km away. The alpine hut is an ideal starting point for hiking the grassy mountains around the Hundstein or the Steinernes Meer. There are also great tours for mountain bikers in the area around Maria Alm.

Ground floor: The heart of the hut is the spacious living room, which offers space for cooking and baking together on the wood or gas stove, as well as for eating and getting together. Kitchen area with wood stove, oven, 2-burner gas stove, running water. 2 bedrooms, 1 toilet. The shower (hot water via gas instantaneous water heater) and the 2nd toilet are accessible from the side through a separate entrance. Cool cellar for groceries. First floor: Triple room (an additional person/child would have space here on a shorter 4th mattress). A photovoltaic system on the roof generates electricity so that there is light. (No sockets). In front of the hut there is a terrace with a sunny seating area, deck chairs and a grill. The rustic alpine hut, with individual accents that are reminiscent of earlier alpine life, invites you to relax and unwind and is therefore an ideal holiday home for those seeking peace and quiet, families and nature lovers. The hut is very sunny, absolutely quiet, with a wonderful view, in the middle of the skiing and hiking area on the Loferer Alm. In winter, you can reach it by cable car and then by chairlift and a slight incline (luggage transport with the hut owner) or non-skiers can walk 1km to the hut after the cable car. In summer, you can drive directly there in your own car (1x toll). In summer, the cows are on the mountain pasture and the landlord comes by twice a day to milk them.

The hut is ideally located for both winter and summer sports enthusiasts! Around 8 km south of Uttendorf in the Salzach Valley, in the beautiful Salzburg region, between the regions of Kitzbühel and Zell am See. The alpine hut is located near a sparsely populated alpine hut, otherwise isolated, by a small stream. 

Distances

Weißsee ski area (glacier lifts up to 2,600m with 18km of groomed slopes, 7 lifts) 5km, ski bus stop about 400m below the hut. Kaprun/Zell am See ski area 28km. The new Kaprun-Maiskogel-Kitzsteinhorn cable car takes you directly to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in 9km. Kitzbühel ski area (entrance Hollersbach) 20km. The nearest place where you can find shops and restaurants is Uttendorf 8km, walking paths from the house, swimming pond 8km, tennis 8km. The area is an El Dorado for cyclists!

In this hut you live on the upper floor. The basement has been converted for agricultural use when the hut owners are on the mountain pasture in the autumn and animals live in the neighboring stable. You are alone in the house. On the upper floor you will find the hut living room with a fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, wood stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, satellite TV. Tiled bathroom with shower and toilet, 3 double rooms. Central heating with wood. In front of the hut there is a meadow, forest and a small stream. This rustic hut is completely isolated and in a very quiet location with a wonderful view of St. Michael in Lungau. Access is approx. 700m below, then a dirt road (access is possible for experienced off-roaders depending on the weather). The landlord will help you with your luggage. There is a ravine behind the hut.
