The hut is located next to a barn and above a rarely inhabited alpine hut, in a wonderfully quiet area, with a view of the Hochkönig massif. Accessible via a forest road in summer, snow chains required in winter!

Nearest town Högmoos with shops, bakery 5km or Taxenbach 10km. Zell am See/Kaprun ski area 15km, wonderful ski touring area and tobogganing from the hut! Swimming pool 11km, bathing lake 15km, indoor pool, tennis, golf course, horse riding each 12km.

The rustic hut has a living room on the ground floor with a kitchenette with a wood stove, oven and gas cooker. Cool cellar for food. Bathroom with shower/toilet. 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. From the living room, there is a ladder to the 140cm high attic room for up to 4 people. Hot water with a bath stove, 12 volt solar power. In front of the hut, there is a wonderful alpine landscape, a fountain, a grill, deck chairs and a seating area.

Next town St. Veit with swimming pool, tennis, shops, etc. 10km, access by car to the hut via 2.5km forest road. Böndlsee or Goldeggersee each 15km. Homemade schnapps available on site!

Two double rooms, 1 room with bunk bed and single bed, small bathroom with shower and toilet. Position

The fenced hut is in a completely isolated location, in wonderful peace and quiet. Surrounded only by cows and sometimes horses, in the middle of the Nockberge Biosphere Park and the Falkert am See alpine pasture area. Access by car via the developed road to Falkert am See, where there is a public car park. Hike to the hut 2km (approx. 30 minutes) through cow pastures. Luggage transport on arrival and departure by the landlord.

St. Urban town 4km, lido at the local Urbansee 4km, Ossiacher See 18km. The Simonhöhe ski area with 7 drag lifts, 1 baby lift and a total of 12km of slopes can be reached by car in 3km. If there is enough snow, you can ski from the ski area to the hut. Guest house 1km.

Pantry, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, toilet with washbasin. Stairs to the upper floor, where there is an open attic room, from which you can get to the 3 bedrooms (1x large double room, 2 small attic rooms - 1x French bed 140cm wide, 1 x 2 single beds). Smoking is not permitted in the hut. The romantic fire in the living room provides cozy warmth, solar power, emergency power generator, natural refrigerator in the well in front of the hut. Two guesthouses within about 4 km, shopping facilities in Oberdrauburg. Ideal starting point for long hikes through forests, to crystal-clear mountain lakes and raised bogs with interesting flora.

The nearest town is Prebl, 6 km away. The historic town of Wolfsberg is 10 km away and has numerous attractions, shops, inns and restaurants. The holiday region is known for its mild climate and many sunny days! Marked hiking trails near the hut, including Saualpe, Koralpe and Klippitztörl, make you want to go hiking every day and can be reached from 20 km away. 190 km of marked cycling and bike tours, one of the most beautiful outdoor pools, a sports centre, golf, horse riding and tennis round off the leisure activities on offer in Wolfsberg. The 2 family ski areas Klippitztörl (20 km away) or Koralpe (30 km away) offer 45 km of slopes in total. The landlord will be happy to organise a hunting experience for you on request!
