Position

The hut is completely isolated, in absolute peace and quiet, in the middle of the Salzburger Lungau Biosphere Park, in the beautiful Schönfeld high valley. Here, surrounded by the Nockberge mountains, nestled in the border triangle of Salzburg, Styria and Carinthia, you can really switch off. In summer it can be reached by car, in winter the hut can be reached up to 500m via a footpath along the cross-country ski trail.

In winter, Schönfeld is a real natural snow paradise thanks to its sunny location! The lift 1km away is ideal for children! The 20km long, perfectly groomed high-altitude cross-country ski trail runs right past the hut! The snowy landscape is wonderful for walking or for ski tourers. Innerkrems ski area 5km, St. Margarethen 17km. In summer, the high valley offers numerous hiking trails and is also an Eldorado for mountain bikers! Mountain lakes, managed shelters and mountain huts invite you to go on adventure hikes! Managed huts from 1km, Innerkrems high ropes course with 65 climbing stations 5km, golf club 20km, Millstättersee 40km.

From the entrance hall you can go up a ladder to the attic, where there are mattresses for up to 6 people. Heating with a wood stove, solar power for light. Outhouse. In front of the hut there is a garden with seating, grill, fountain and small fish pond!

Countless hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Hike along the Pleißlingbach towards the Südwiener Hütte (1802m) and further to the Pleißlingkeil (2501m). Restaurant and alpine inn 2km, managed alpine pasture 200m above. Next town Flachau 9km. Here you will not only find shops and restaurants but also many leisure activities such as summer toboggan runs, rafting, go-karting or horse riding. Therme Amade 20km away.

The hut is in an ideal location! In the district of Zell am See, in the beautiful Salzburg region, isolated and very sunny, above Walchen near Piesendorf, with a wonderful view of the Salzach Valley and the Zell am See region. Access via a dead-end road that ends at the owner's farm above.

3 ski areas with 408 km of slopes are just 9 km away! Endless mountain fun between Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe and the Skicirus Saalbach-Hinterglemm thanks to the Ski ALPIN CARD! The new cable car connection Kaprun-Maiskogel-Kitzsteinhorn takes you directly to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in 9 km. Those who prefer a quieter experience can drive to the Naglköpfl adventure mountain with fun park and baby lift in 4 km. Kitzbühel ski area 25 km. Illuminated toboggan runs in the area. The hut is in a very quiet location, in the middle of the ski and hiking area on the Loferer Alm. In summer it can be reached by car (1x toll), in winter it can be reached via lifts and on skis or 10 minutes on foot from the mountain station of the gondola. (Luggage transport with the hut owner)

The farmhouse is located above the Salzach Valley, in a wonderfully sunny location, surrounded by meadows, at the end of a farm track. During the year there are cows and calves in the stable at the back, in the summer they are on the mountain pasture and the stable is empty.

Next town Ramingstein 12km. Above the town rises Finstergrün Castle, the landmark of Ramingstein and a witness to past eras. Swimming pool 20km, tennis 20km, golf 26km. From the hut, extensive hikes and mountain bike tours around the local mountain Königstuhl and through the untouched nature of the Lungau. Managed Niggeialm 2km.

The rustic alpine hut has on the ground floor: a living room with a seating area, tiled stove, couch. Kitchenette with a wood stove and oven. Here you heat the water that you get from the well. 1 twin bedroom. First floor: There is a bedroom on the left and right under the roof. On the left is a triple room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, on the right in the bedroom there are 2 single beds that can be folded out, up to 4 people could sleep here.
