Distances

Nearest town with shops, restaurants, swimming pool, etc. Murau is about 12km away. Kreischberg or Frauenalpe ski area is 17km away, cross-country ski trail is 7km away, and there are countless hiking trails from the hut. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt in Murau, the largest adventure center for wood. Here you can take part in wood walks in the summer months.

The hut has a cozy living room with tiled stove and kitchen with wood stove, oven, gas cooker, refrigerator, next to it 1 bedroom with 3 beds, shower, toilet. The upper floor is accessible via an external staircase. Here is the 2nd bedroom with 1 double bed and 3 single beds under the roof. Heating with tiled stove, on request gas comfort heating for heat and water, solar power for light. In front of the hut there is a garden with seating area, grill, wood-fired sauna and large lawn. Bring your own bed linen and towels.

Position

This hut is located about 4 km from the town of Donnersbachwald, a romantic mountain village with many leisure activities in both winter and summer. Below the hut is a rarely inhabited farmhouse, otherwise a quiet, secluded location. Behind the hut is an alpine pasture with cows and calves.

Next town Donnersbachwald 4km, with shops, restaurants, leisure park, swimming lake, tennis court. The Riesneralm ski area with 30km of groomed slopes, snow park, ski school and ski kindergarten is 4km away. The Riesneralm is an insider tip for families. 5ha of slopes and 5 slopes just for children! Modern snowmaking systems, a race track and the extensive free-ride area round off the offer. Hiking trails directly from the hut. In summer, take the Riesneralm cable car to visit the new summit adventure pool with an infinity pool at 1,900 meters! Come on a treasure hunt up to the summit plateau, where a high seas seat with a raft and a barefoot path await.

Position

The hut is completely isolated, with a wonderful view, surrounded by meadows above the town of Stein an der Enns with a view of the Enns Valley and the Dachstein-Tauern region.

Distances

Stein town for shopping 2.5km, signposted hiking trail directly from the hut. The hut is located in the middle of the "Sölktäler Nature Park". This alpine nature park offers numerous mountain lakes and managed alpine pastures on an area of 277km2. Here you will find educational trails, guided hikes, a nature museum and numerous cultural events. Cross-country ski trail 3km, Dachstein-Tauern ski area 12km, tennis court 4.5km, Aich bathing lake 10km.

The hut is located on the edge of a large meadow, on a sunny plateau, with a wide view, as the outermost of 5 huts that are not very often inhabited. Very quiet, away from roads and traffic, ideal for children!

Nearest town Preg 5km or St. Stefan ob Leoben 7km. Gaaler Lifte ski area 30km, Präbichl or Obdach ski areas 45km each. Marked hiking trails from the hut, swimming pond 8km away.

Position

The hut is located in the middle of the Loferer Alm, right in the ski and hiking area. In summer it can be reached by car (1x toll), in winter via the gondola and a 5-minute walk uphill from the mountain station. If required, the landlord will bring your luggage from the valley station to the hut.

Lofer town for shopping 7km, ski area right in front of the hut, high-altitude cross-country skiing trail in front of the hut, hiking trails from the hut, serviced huts within walking distance. The Loferer Alm offers wonderful refreshment in summer: 2 mountain lakes on the Alm invite you to cool off! Loferer Almsee 500m below. Tip: The waterfall path leads down to the middle station of the cable car and offers 12 tingling stations. You hike through shady forest and along roaring waterfalls and if you're too tired you can take the cable car back to the Alm! You can cycle to the Steinplatte and Winklmoosalm on a mountain bike or e-bike!

The landlords have an inn 9km down where you can enjoy local specialties from organic farming!

This holiday home is located on the outskirts of St. Michael, in Lungau, in the sunny southern part of Salzburg.

Distances

St. Michael with shops, bakery, swimming pool, tennis 800m. The Lungau offers 5 ski areas with a total of over 220 km of slopes and 50 lifts. Fantastic deep snow slopes and perfectly groomed runs of all levels of difficulty offer fun for beginners and professionals. Katschberg 2km, Speiereck 2.5km. The free ski bus stops 100m away! In summer, there are countless ways to get out and about in the unspoilt nature in the Salzburg Lungau, with hiking and cycling being among the absolute favorites in the Lungau alpine summer. A well-marked network of hiking and biking trails leads to around 60 crystal-clear mountain lakes and over 70 managed alpine huts. Extensive trekking tours are also a wonderful way to explore the region in Austria's highest e-bike region with around 150 e-bikes spread across several rental stations and around 100 battery charging stations. Other activities such as golf, horse riding, paragliding and climbing round off the range of activities in the Salzburg Lungau. Tip: the 5.5 hectare Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 25 km away. The circular hiking trail around the lake is popular with families, and the hut on the lake spoils you with local cuisine!

Position

In a completely secluded location, on a sunny slope, about 3km above the town of Viehhofen, in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski area. In summer there are sheep and horses on the mountain pasture. Access via a 3km long, asphalt road (in winter chains) up to 300m to the Hecherhütte, then a gravel road to the hut. The hut is 300m from the slope to Viehhofen. You ski from the hut down the slope (piste no. 68/Hecherhütte) to the town, from there a ski bus connection to the lifts (approx. 5km).

You are in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski circus! Village of Viehhofen 3.5km, ski school 3.5km. Saalbach 12km, serviced hut with summer swimming pool 300m, toboggan run 8km. Cross-country ski trail 5km. Mountain bike routes and long hiking trails from the hut! Zell am See 12km.

In winter, the gondola lift takes you up to the house, which stops about 150m above the house - so it is also easily accessible for non-skiers. The holiday home is located above Werfenweng, with a wonderful view from the Hockönig to the Großglockner and into the Salzach Valley. Quiet, secluded location on the slope.

Distances

The path ends at a snack station about 50m above. Werfenweng ski area with 25km of slopes in 5km. Pfarrwerfen 8km. Leisure park with idyllic natural swimming lake, water slide, and lakeside pub 5km. The famous Eisriesenwelt is 10km. Werfenweng is ideally located in the middle of Salzburg, only 45km from the city of Mozart and offers 85km of hiking trails, managed inns and is also ideal for mountain bikers! Float up to 1,850m above sea level on the Ikarus cable car in summer too! Circular hiking trails and toboggan run from the hut!
