The hut is located in the middle of the Präbichl ski arena, right next to the Zellerhang and the Polster Quattro. Very sunny and absolutely quiet with a view of the mountains and the Grübl mountain lake. The hut can be reached by car up to 50m below.

Skiarena Präbichl ski area, Polster Quattro chairlift (not open in summer) next to the hut. Ski school, practice lift, illuminated toboggan run nearby. Ski rental at the valley station. 21km long cross-country ski trails in the Eisenerzer Ramsau up to 1064m above sea level, 10km away. Indoor swimming pool 10km away. In summer you can take a single chairlift to almost 2000m in just 11 minutes! From here there are numerous marked hiking trails in the Hochschwab South region and the Eisenerzer Alps. The hut is in a secluded location, directly on the banks of the Gellsee, at the foot of the Lachtal in Styria. The Gellsee is an idyllic raised moor lake where you can also swim in the summer. The lake is only for residents.

Nearest town Oberwölz 12km, Scheifling 16km, Lachtal 3km, In summer ideal for mountain bikers, extensive hikes to managed huts! Right by the lake is a moorland plant educational trail where you can walk on larch wood walkways.

Position

The hut is located in the middle of the top skiing and hiking area of Saalbach-Hinterglemm, about 2 km above the town of Lengau, on a sunny slope, with a wonderful view. The hut can be reached by car all year round via a forest road. In winter, the snow is cleared on the Saturday of arrival/departure (snow chains are still needed!), and only occasionally during the week. There is a garage for 2-3 cars. In winter, the hut can also be reached via the lifts (gondola and chair lift) or on foot (approx. 30 minutes uphill from the middle station).

Ski slope right outside the door! Serviced hut 350m in winter, 1km in summer. Ski school in Hinterglemm. Cross-country ski trail in the village. Shops and restaurants in the village 2km away. Large pond for splashing just 1km below. In summer, wonderful hikes and mountain bike routes from the hut. Own above-ground pool for splashing (diameter approx. 5m/height 1.2m) under the hut.

Position

This rustic alpine hut, built in 1750, is located in the middle of the Schladming-Dachstein region, in Ramsau with a wonderful view of the Tauern and the Dachstein mountains. The hut is located alone, next to an empty stable, in the middle of alpine pastures. Access via toll road (Info 2024: € 20/trip/car for 2 cars with the local tax card included) to 100m below the hut.

Ramsau town 7km, walking paths directly from the hut into the valley and to the glacier! Serviced huts from 800m.

Nearest town with shops, restaurants, swimming pool, etc. Murau is about 12km away. Kreischberg or Frauenalpe ski area is 17km away, cross-country ski trail is 7km away, and there are countless hiking trails from the hut. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt in Murau, the largest adventure center for wood. Here you can take part in wood walks in the summer months.

Position

The hut is located in the middle of the Loferer Alm, right in the ski and hiking area. In summer it can be reached by car (1x toll), in winter via the gondola and a 5-minute walk uphill from the mountain station. If required, the landlord will bring your luggage from the valley station to the hut.

Lofer town for shopping 7km, ski area right in front of the hut, high-altitude cross-country skiing trail in front of the hut, hiking trails from the hut, serviced huts within walking distance. The Loferer Alm offers wonderful refreshment in summer: 2 mountain lakes on the Alm invite you to cool off! Loferer Almsee 500m below. Tip: The waterfall path leads down to the middle station of the cable car and offers 12 tingling stations. You hike through shady forest and along roaring waterfalls and if you're too tired you can take the cable car back to the Alm! You can cycle to the Steinplatte and Winklmoosalm on a mountain bike or e-bike!

Werfenweng is ideally located in the middle of Salzburg, only 45km from the city of Mozart and offers 85km of hiking trails, managed inns and is also ideal for mountain bikers! Float up to 1,850m above sea level on the Ikarus cable car in summer too! Circular hiking trails and toboggan run from the hut!
