The hut is located on the Loferer Alm, right in the skiing and hiking area. In winter, the location is simply ideal! The hut is only about 70m from the mountain station of the gondola lift and is therefore also ideal for non-skiers and small children! It is easy to get there with a stroller or sled. The landlord will help you transport your luggage. In summer, it can be reached directly by car (1x toll).

Position

In wonderful peace, in the middle of the alpine pasture, in a large garden, a stream runs below the hut, access via a well-developed gravel road. 

Distances

Countless hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Hike along the Pleißlingbach towards the Südwiener Hütte (1802m) and further to the Pleißlingkeil (2501m). Restaurant and alpine inn 2km, managed alpine pasture 200m above. Next town Flachau 9km. Here you will not only find shops and restaurants but also many leisure activities such as summer toboggan runs, rafting, go-karting or horse riding. Therme Amade 20km away.

Nearest town Zederhaus 3km or St. Michael with shops, restaurants 17km, ski area Großeck-Speiereck 17km, Katschberg 20km, ideal starting point for ski tours from the hut. Groomed cross-country ski trails 300m away. Riedingtal, a nature park with a healthy high altitude climate and in summer with managed alpine pastures and quiet mountain lakes, can be reached in 2km.

The nearest town for shopping is Zederhaus, with shops and a restaurant 3km away. Walking paths directly from the hut. Swimming pool, tennis courts and bike rentals can be found in St. Michael 10km away.

This rustic hut has a lot of atmosphere due to its construction. It consists of one room and has on the ground floor: hut parlor with seating area, integrated kitchen corner with wood stove, open fireplace. The alpine hut is located together with a few temporarily inhabited huts above the municipality of Maria Alm, in the middle of an alpine area. Situated on a plateau, you have a fantastic view of the Steinernes Meer and Hochkönig mountain ranges. The alpine hut can be reached directly via a 5km long farm track (gravel road). 

Distances

Maria Alm 8 km. There are grocery stores, restaurants and various leisure activities. For a leisurely shopping trip, Saalfelden is recommended at 13 km. The nearest inn is 5 km away. Swimming pool and tennis courts are around 9 km away, golf is 10 km away. The alpine hut is an ideal starting point for hiking the grassy mountains around the Hundstein or the Steinernes Meer. There are also great tours for mountain bikers in the area around Maria Alm.

Ground floor: The heart of the hut is the spacious living room, which offers space for cooking and baking together on the wood or gas stove, as well as for eating and getting together. Kitchen area with wood stove, oven, 2-burner gas stove, running water. 2 bedrooms, 1 toilet. The shower (hot water via gas instantaneous water heater) and the 2nd toilet are accessible from the side through a separate entrance. Cool cellar for groceries. First floor: Triple room (an additional person/child would have space here on a shorter 4th mattress). A photovoltaic system on the roof generates electricity so that there is light. (No sockets). In front of the hut there is a terrace with a sunny seating area, deck chairs and a grill. The hut is located in the middle of a large meadow, isolated, at the foot of the Riedingtal in the Salzburg Lungau. It is the ideal starting point for numerous winter and summer activities in this charming natural landscape.

Distances

Nearest town Zederhaus 6km or St. Michael im Lungau with shops, restaurants 16km. Großeck-Speiereck ski area 20km. Katschberg 23km. The Ski amadé region (entrance to the Flachauwinkel-Zauchensee-Kleinarl ski area) can be easily reached via the Tauern tunnel in 20 minutes (23km). Ideal starting point for ski tours from the hut. The Riedingtal is a nature park with a healthy high-altitude climate, with managed alpine pastures and quiet mountain lakes in summer. You can take the valley bus to the traffic-calmed Riedingtal. Numerous large and small lakes are located in this attractive nature reserve. Many managed alpine pastures with homemade products invite you to take a break. Mountain hikes to the nearby peaks offer views as far as the Großglockner!

Position

Die Hütte liegt in einem kleinen Hüttendorf, in wunderbarer Almlandschaft. Göriach ist bekannt für ein wunderschönes und vor allem sehr sonniges Gebirgstal mit bäuerlichem, dörflichem Charakter. Wanderer und Bergsteiger finden hier das ersehnte Naturerlebnis. Der Alpenverein hat Göriach nun sogar in die Riege der „Bergsteigerdörfer“ aufgenommen. Hier ist das Bewusstsein über den Einklang zwischen Natur und Mensch noch lebendig und man respektiert natürliche Grenzen. Die Hütte liegt am Fuße des Hochgollings, dem mit 2862m höchsten Berg der Niederen Tauern.

Serviced hut in the village. The nearest larger towns with shops, swimming pool, tennis, etc. are Mariapfarr in 12km or Tamsweg in 15km. Wonderful hikes or bike rides along the mountain stream to waterfalls and up to small lakes and to the AV refuge hut!

The cabin is simply and rustically furnished. Living room with seating and wood stove for cooking and heating, one bedroom with 3 beds. First floor: storage room, where up to 4 people can be accommodated. No electricity, solar light, solar cell phone charging station. Diagonally opposite is the small, private bathing cabin with shower (solar boiler 120 litres, solar light) and outhouse.

The small hut is located about 9km above Lake Ossiach, on the Gerlitzen Alpe, surrounded by forest and meadow, absolutely quiet and isolated. The hut can be reached by car up to 400m away, in summer you could drive directly there in an off-road vehicle, otherwise you have to walk to the hut. 

Distances

Bodensdorf 9km, Gerlitzen summit 3km, Ossiachersee 9km, Sepplhütte (serviced) 400m, tip: Seppenhütten circular hiking trail (walking time approx. 3:20)! The excursion destinations Affenberg, Finsterbach waterfalls or the Landskron castle ruins on the western shore of the Ossiachersee are excursion destinations for the whole family. There is also an adventure park on the Gerlitzen with over 160 exciting stations! Many marked hiking and mountain bike routes in the area!

Furnishing

The small hut has one room with a seating area, a fold-out couch, a very well-equipped kitchenette with an electric stove, oven, wood-burning stove, coffee machine, kettle, and plenty of dishes. The hut has electricity, but water is only available in front of the hut at the well. Outhouse. In front of the hut there is a meadow with seating, deck chairs and a grill.
