Position

The hut is located in a quiet, sunny, beautiful alpine landscape, in the middle of the Dachstein-West region, on the Zwieselalm. In summer it can be reached either by car via a toll road (7km forest path) and a 20-minute walk, or via the cable car and a 20-minute walk. Luggage must be carried in a backpack. 

Distances

Wonderful hikes or mountain bike tours from the hut. Nearest town Gosau 7km. Moor lake 1km. Serviced hut 250m.

Furnishing

The rustic hut has a living room with a seating area and a kitchenette with a wood stove and oven. Electric stove (2 plates), kettle, coffee machine available. Small bedroom with double bed (160cm wide), stairs from the living room to the attic, where there is sleeping space for up to 8 people. There is a shower with hot water (electric boiler) on the side, otherwise water can be fetched from the well in front of the hut. Toilet. In the basement is the old "poacher's hideout". If it's not too dark for you, there's even a sauna there! Electricity available. Seating area in front of the hut, garden with grill, well. Bed linen, towels available.
