Nearest larger town for shopping is Murau 10km, swimming pond 6km, ski areas Grebenzen 10km, Kreischberg 20km. Hiking trails and mountain bike trails from the hut. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt in Murau, the largest adventure center for wood. Here you can take part in wood walks in the summer months.

The hut has been renovated to be very comfortable. Ground floor: living room with seating area, wood stove, oven, small electric stove with 2 plates, refrigerator, dishwasher. Living room with cozy tiled stove and seating area, satellite TV. Stairs to the upper floor, where there is a four-bed room on the left and right under the roof (1x 2 double beds, 1x 4 single beds). Basement: shower/toilet. Heating with wood. In front of the hut there is a garden with deck chairs, fire bowl and a new winter garden where you can sit, eat or work in a sheltered area and enjoy the wonderful view. Position

The hut is located about 20 km from Spital am Semmering, in the Fischbach Alps. The hut is isolated, very quiet and sunny with a wonderful view below the Pretul, in the neighborhood of Peter Rosegger's Waldheimat.

Nearest towns with shops, bakery, swimming pool Rettenegg 3km or Ratten 6km. Walking paths directly from the hut, wonderful mushroom area!

Furnishing

The non-smoking cabin has a large living room with seating area and satellite TV on the ground floor, an open kitchen with electric stove, wood stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and coffee machine and a dining corner. Reading room with couch, tiled shower, toilet. The upper floor is reached via a staircase. Here you will find 2 beds, passage to double room, TV, balcony. Heating with wood stove, infrared radiator, hot water boiler. In front of the cabin there is a large sun terrace with seating and deck chairs, fountain, garden grill.

Distances

Nearest town with shops, restaurants, swimming pool, etc. Murau is about 12km away. Kreischberg or Frauenalpe ski area is 17km away, cross-country ski trail is 7km away, and there are countless hiking trails from the hut. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt in Murau, the largest adventure center for wood. Here you can take part in wood walks in the summer months.

The hut has a cozy living room with tiled stove and kitchen with wood stove, oven, gas cooker, refrigerator, next to it 1 bedroom with 3 beds, shower, toilet. The upper floor is accessible via an external staircase. Here is the 2nd bedroom with 1 double bed and 3 single beds under the roof. Heating with tiled stove, on request gas comfort heating for heat and water, solar power for light. In front of the hut there is a garden with seating area, grill, wood-fired sauna and large lawn. The hut is completely isolated, with a wonderful view, surrounded by meadows above the town of Stein an der Enns with a view of the Enns Valley and the Dachstein-Tauern region.

Distances

Stein town for shopping 2.5km, signposted hiking trail directly from the hut. The hut is located in the middle of the "Sölktäler Nature Park". This alpine nature park offers numerous mountain lakes and managed alpine pastures on an area of 277km2. Here you will find educational trails, guided hikes, a nature museum and numerous cultural events. Cross-country ski trail 3km, Dachstein-Tauern ski area 12km, tennis court 4.5km, Aich bathing lake 10km.

In wonderful peace, in the middle of the alpine pasture, in a large garden, a stream runs below the hut, access via a well-developed gravel road. 

Distances

Countless hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Hike along the Pleißlingbach towards the Südwiener Hütte (1802m) and further to the Pleißlingkeil (2501m). Restaurant and alpine inn 2km, managed alpine pasture 200m above. Next town Flachau 9km. Here you will not only find shops and restaurants but also many leisure activities such as summer toboggan runs, rafting, go-karting or horse riding. Therme Amade 20km away.

The hut is located between Unken and Lofer, on the Unkenberg on the Tyrolean side. Here you can get to the hut by car on a forest road with an authorization card (ticket € 10/car/stay). It is in a sunny, absolutely quiet, secluded location. There are also small calves on the mountain pasture that graze on the surrounding meadows. 

Distances

Nearest town Unken 8km, Lofer 13km, the picturesque Heutal 14km. Managed alpine pasture 3.4km and about 1 hour's walk. The hut is ideal for trips to the nearby Loferer Alm. In addition to many managed alpine pastures, there is an adventure playground, via ferrata, waterfall path and crystal-clear mountain lakes. From the hut you can hike or cycle to gorges, caves and alpine pastures by mountain bike. Bad Reichenhall thermal baths 25km, mountain bike rental 7km. The hut is also the ideal starting point for trips to the city of Salzburg, the mountains of Tyrol or Bavaria!
