Position

The romantic holiday resort of Dienten is centrally located in the ski area of the Hochkönig region and is also the starting point for numerous ski tours, snowshoe hikes or cross-country skiing tours. Whether you are looking for adventure or peace and quiet, the traditional Hochkönig region around the towns of Maria Alm, Dienten and Mühlbach offers around 340 kilometers of certified hiking trails, countless kilometers of e-bike or mountain bike routes. The farmhouse is about 4 km outside of the town, on the slope, next to a farm, otherwise isolated, very sunny and quiet!

Position

The hut is located on the Gstoder, in the idyllic Seetal, in the middle of the alpine pastures, in wonderful peace and quiet, with a wonderful view! Access via a 5km long forest path that ends at the hut. Please do not drive from 5pm in the evening until nightfall (resting time for the wildlife)!

Distances

50m above there is a mountain hut where you can enjoy a mountain snack from around mid-June to mid-September. The nearest town is Tamsweg 17km away, Prebersee 26km away, fishing is possible at Seetaler See 5km away. Hiking trails directly from the hut to the 2,241m high summit. Ski areas St. Margarethen, Mauterndorf, Fanningberg each 30km away. Ski tours on the Gstoder from the hut!

The 200-year-old hut has been completely renovated and lovingly furnished. Entrance hall with wood stove, oven. Here you cook and heat the water that you get from the well in front of the hut. Cozy living room with seating area and tiled stove, 1 double room. From the entrance hall on the left, stairs lead up to the attic room with the double room and on the right, a ladder leads to the attic room with the storage room for 2 people. Behind the hut, an outhouse (which is constantly emptied). In front of the hut, a sunny seating area, well, barbecue area. Light with gas cartridges, electricity via generator if required.

Position

The hut is in a wonderful, secluded location and is in absolute silence, with a wide view, about 2 km above Lake Preber. It can be reached via a 1.5 km long forest road (in winter with four-wheel drive/chains).

Distances

The 5.5 hectare Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 2km away, very nice circular hiking trail around the lake, start of the mountain bike Preber tour from the hut! Serviced hut on the lake with local cuisine 2km, in summer many alpine pastures are also serviced. Next big town Tamsweg 11km. Speiereck ski area 20km.

The cabin has a very cozy living room on the ground floor, which is built around the large stove, which is also used for cooking. Kitchen area with refrigerator, sink, coffee machine. Cozy seating area with stove bench, exit to the covered terrace with a wonderful view. Shower/toilet. Sauna (accessible from outside). Position

The alpine hut is located in the Rauris Valley, on the outskirts of Bucheben. Quiet, secluded location, in the middle of a large property with 3 ponds, 2 of which have fish. The donkey, a horse and our mule graze on the property. Access to the hut is via a gravel road.

Distances

There is a small shop with a bar 750 m from the hut (farm bread, rolls, sausage, cheese, dairy products, farm products from the valley, small hot dishes, coffee, cakes, etc.), and a riding stable 750 m away. The cycle path runs directly 50 m from the hut. The area is simply ideal for hikes of all levels of difficulty to the many serviced huts in the Hohe Tauern National Park.

Furnishing

The cabin has a living room on the ground floor with a seating area, kitchenette with wood stove and oven, washing up (cold water), eating and cooking utensils and a camping gas cooker. The stove is used to heat the cabin and to heat the water. The bedroom with 3 double beds is on the upper floor. 24-volt solar power for lighting is available. The hut is in a very quiet, secluded location, with a wonderful view, near the Prebersee nature reserve in Lungau. From the end of February to mid-May, access via the 2km forest path is closed. The hut can only be reached on foot during this time.

The hut is located in the north-eastern part of the Mühlviertel, about 6 km from Liebenau, in a very quiet, sunny, secluded location. Liebenau is the highest town in Upper Austria and, with the Tannermoor nature reserve, the largest forest raised bog in Austria! 

Distances

Liebenau with shops, inn, tennis 6km. In winter, the hut is only 10 minutes by car from 3 family ski areas! Both the Liebenau ski lifts and the Aichelberg lifts Karlstift and Viehberg offer the best slopes, a children's area and a ski school. From the sun terrace of the ski hut you can marvel at the skills of the little ones. The Liebenau ski lift also offers a fun park and floodlit skiing. The high plateau is also ideal for cross-country skiing and skating! In the region there are over 280km (some with floodlights) parallel trails with cozy guest rooms to linger in! In summer, the hut is ideal for hikes and bike tours! E-bike rental in the village! Romantic natural bathing lake Rubener Teich only 10km. The area also has an extensive network of bridle paths! Visit the landlord's organic farm with about 50 Galloway cattle, 3 pigs, 4 horses, chickens, cats and 3 dogs within 2km.

The holiday home is in an ideal location! The surrounding ski areas with 300 km of slopes can also be reached by ski bus (station 300m away). Katschberg Aineck ski area 6km, Großeck-Speiereck 9km, Obertauern 25km. Direct access to the cross-country ski trail from the house! A well-marked network of hiking and biking trails leads to around 60 crystal-clear mountain lakes and over 70 managed alpine huts. Other activities such as golf (6km), horse riding, paragliding or climbing round off the range of activities in the Salzburg Lungau. Tip: the 5.5 hectare Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 14 km away. The circular hiking trail with the inn is particularly popular with families. In the idyllic village of Unternberg there is an inn, right next to a tennis court and the Gfrererteich for splashing around. In winter you can often ice skate here too! The nearest larger town is Tamsweg 6km, St Michael 8km. The accommodation is the ideal starting point for family hikes, theme trails and nature trails, sleigh rides, mountain or e-bike tours. A cultural attraction is Moosham Castle with guided tours and a model airfield.
