The hut is located in the Salzburg Lungau, in the middle of the Nock Mountains, at the foot of the Kleiner Königstuhl, in an absolutely quiet, secluded location, with a wonderful view. 

Distances

Next town Ramingstein 12km. Above the town rises Finstergrün Castle, the landmark of Ramingstein and a witness to past eras. Swimming pool 20km, tennis 20km, golf 26km. From the hut, extensive hikes and mountain bike tours around the local mountain Königstuhl and through the untouched nature of the Lungau. Managed Niggeialm 2km. 

Furnishing

The rustic alpine hut has on the ground floor: a living room with a seating area, tiled stove, couch. Kitchenette with a wood stove and oven. Here you heat the water that you get from the well. 1 twin bedroom. First floor: There is a bedroom on the left and right under the roof. On the left is a triple room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, on the right in the bedroom there are 2 single beds that can be folded out, up to 4 people could sleep here. Heating with a tiled stove and wood stove. In front of the hut there is a large, fenced meadow with a seating area, grill, well and a wonderful view. Next to the hut is an empty barn. Outhouse next to the barn (emptied regularly). Solar power for lights and radio or for charging batteries. In summer the little calves in the alpine area are under the hut.

Position

The two huts are about 20m apart, on a large meadow, quiet and sunny, between Radstadt and Schladming, about 3km from the town of Forstau. The location on the high plateau is ideal for families and guests who want to enjoy the quiet location on the edge of the forest, the fresh air, the evening sun until autumn and the view of the mountains. (Please no party guests)

The cabins are very comfortable and built entirely from wood. Exit to the sun terrace with bench and grill. 1 bedroom for 2-4 people with double bed and pull-out couch if required with shower/toilet. Sauna with shower, whirlpool. 1 toilet. Upper floor: 4 bedrooms each with double bed and pull-out couch if required, internet connection and WiFi. 2 showers. 2 toilets. Central heating, bathrooms with underfloor heating, hair dryer. The holiday home is located in the sunny Lungau, in the south of Salzburg, completely alone, surrounded by 3 hectares of private land. There is also a fish pond and a stream with an old mill. The access road ends at the house.

Distances

Nearest town Zederhaus 3km or St. Michael with shops, restaurants 17km, ski area Großeck-Speiereck 17km, Katschberg 20km, ideal starting point for ski tours from the hut. Groomed cross-country ski trails 300m away. Riedingtal, a nature park with a healthy high altitude climate and in summer with managed alpine pastures and quiet mountain lakes, can be reached in 2km.

The holiday home has been lovingly renovated and has on the ground floor: perfectly equipped kitchen with seating area, electric stove, oven, wood stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine. The hut is located between Unken and Lofer, on the Unkenberg on the Tyrolean side. Here you can get to the hut by car on a forest road with an authorization card (ticket € 10/car/stay). It is in a sunny, absolutely quiet, secluded location. There are also small calves on the mountain pasture that graze on the surrounding meadows. 

Distances

Nearest town Unken 8km, Lofer 13km, the picturesque Heutal 14km. Managed alpine pasture 3.4km and about 1 hour's walk. The hut is ideal for trips to the nearby Loferer Alm. In addition to many managed alpine pastures, there is an adventure playground, via ferrata, waterfall path and crystal-clear mountain lakes. From the hut you can hike or cycle to gorges, caves and alpine pastures by mountain bike. Bad Reichenhall thermal baths 25km, mountain bike rental 7km. The hut is also the ideal starting point for trips to the city of Salzburg, the mountains of Tyrol or Bavaria!

The cabin is very quaint and rustic. Ground floor: living room with seating area and wood stove with oven. Room with sink (cold water), toilet (no flush). Position

In a wonderful, secluded location, in the picturesque Hollersbachtal, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the west of Salzburg. As a tenant, you are allowed to drive into the valley in your own car, and visitors can hike from the beginning of the valley from the inn at the reservoir along the interesting stream educational trail to the managed alpine pastures.

Hollersbach town with shop, restaurants 6km. Serviced hut where you can fortify yourself with an alpine snack 500m. (E-bike charging station). Around mid-May - early September the cows are on the mountain pastures, they come to the barn in the morning and evening to be milked, which is located diagonally below the hut. Then the farmer is happy to deliver fresh rolls, milk, eggs, butter or bacon in the morning! While the cows are being milked, you can charge batteries (generator). A stream meanders through the wide Tauern valley, the path is not steep and therefore ideal for cyclists. There are also challenging hiking trails from the hut to the largest mountain lake in the Hohe Tauern, the Kratzenbergsee. Lakeside inn 6km. The panorama cable car runs from Hollersbach! You can cycle from the hut through the valley directly to the valley station 7.5km away and float in just 12 minutes at an altitude of 1892m to the Kitzbühel area! Hollersbach bathing lake with large playground 6km, Zell am See 35km, Krimml Waterfalls 30km. You can also fish in the reservoir (map available on site)

The hut has on the ground floor: large entrance hall (ideal for bikes), hut room with seating area and wood stove, oven, gas stove (2 burners), gas refrigerator. Bathroom with tub and toilet. Hot water on the ground floor via boiler, which is heated with wood (enough once a day). First floor: 1 double room with couch if required, 1 double room that can be walked through to a room with double bed and bunk bed. All rooms have sinks (cold water). No electricity, gas light. In front of the house: seating area with a wonderful view of the valley and the impressive mountain walls, grill, fountain.

Next town Leogang 2km, drag lift 2km. The Asitzbahnen (6km away) take you directly to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski circus with 60 lifts and over 200km of groomed slopes, ski bus stops right outside the house! Cross-country ski trail and walking paths from the house, swimming lake 5km, indoor pool and tennis 4km, Austria's longest summer toboggan run 3km. You can order bread rolls by phone. Behind the farmhouse there is a stable with cows and horses and you can go horse riding here or explore the area in a carriage in winter.

In a quiet, secluded location, on the edge of the forest, in the middle of an alpine meadow, on the Postalm. Idyllic nature awaits you here in the middle of the Salzkammergut. In winter, the hut can be reached via a toll road up to 200m away. As of 2024: Winter from Strobl € 10.00/person € 5.00/child or from Abtenau € 17.00/car. Summer from Strobl € 17.00 per car or from Abtenau € 13.00/car. In winter: the toll is refunded when you buy a lift ticket. In summer, you can drive the last 200m to the hut on a forest path.

Distances

Nearest town Abtenau 15km or Strobl on Lake Wolfgangsee 15km. Postalm ski area with ski school, fun park, ski rental, high-altitude trails (up to 15km long!), 8 lifts and 20km of groomed slopes within 2km. Leave your car behind: free ski bus service on site! The Postalm is particularly popular with families, and is also ideal for cross-country skiers and ski tourers! In summer, there are circular hiking trails, the via ferrata in the Postalm Gorge, mountain bike tours, swimming under the waterfall or trips to one of the numerous managed huts and to the nearby Salzkammergut. Lake Wolfgangsee can be reached by car in 30 minutes. Fresh farm products are available 1.5km away in summer.

The hut is located in Kolm Saigurn, in a wonderful, secluded location, surrounded by meadows through which the Hüttwinklache flows, foaming and bubbling. The hut can be reached from Rauris via a toll road (weekly ticket approx. €7 per car), through one of the most beautiful mountain forests with ancient Swiss stone pines and spruces.

Distances

The Hohe Tauern National Park, the immediate vicinity of the Großglockner or Sonnblick, many managed alpine pastures are ideal for hikers, the Rauris Valley is perfect for biking! Circular hiking trail from the hut! The nearest town is Rauris, 20km. 50m above there is a managed alpine pasture, about 400m opposite there is a nature lovers' house where you can stop for a break.
