Position

The hut is located in the middle of the top ski area of the Zillertal Arena, on the Gerlosplatte, above several holiday homes. Wonderful sunny location with a view from the edge of the ski area to the reservoir! Direct access by car. 

Distances

Direct access to the Zillertal Arena ski area from the hut! Strap on your skis and ski from the hut to Zell in Zillertal, a total of 165 kilometers of slopes, state-of-the-art lifts, guaranteed snow until spring. Access to the cross-country ski trail from the hut. Ski school 2km, Filzsteinalm toboggan run 2km. Bread roll service and sports shop nearby. Nearest places to shop Königsleiten 1km, Krimml 10km, Gerlos 11km away. In summer, the region is also a highlight for all those who love the mountains! Hikes or extensive bike tours directly from the hut. If you like action: the Zillertal Arena offers Arena Coaster, Arena Skyliner and Flying Fox, single trails, via ferratas, water experiences such as rafting and canyoning, paragliding and much more! The Durlassboden reservoir is only 3km away. The spring water is over 20 degrees in midsummer and offers wonderful refreshment for splashing around, swimming or pedal boating. There is also a surfing school, sunbathing area and children's playground here! A special hiking tip: the circular hike around the reservoir with refreshment options at the Gasthof Finkau, Bärschlagalm and the Seestüberl on the dam crest. Breathtaking hike: With a drop of 380 meters, the Krimml Waterfalls are among the most impressive natural spectacles in the world!

The double cabin consists of 2 completely separate units. (Part on the left "GER-SBG" and part on the right see "LOS-SBG"). You live in the left part. Here you have your own side entrance to the ground floor: cozy living room with seating area, tiled stove, satellite TV. Perfectly equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine. 2 double rooms, 1 twin room. 2 bathrooms with shower and toilet. The ground floor is barrier-free! From the living room there is a staircase to the top floor, where you will find a double room in the attic. Heating with tiled stove and electric. WiFi available. Bed linen and towels available. Terrace with seating in front of the cabin. We ask that you do not smoke in the cabin.

Position

This hut is located above Niedernfritz in a sunny, absolutely quiet location, surrounded by meadows and forest. Niedernfritz is a district of Hüttau and is nestled in the legendary Fritztal. The Tennengebirge and the Fritztal mountains with their panoramic Hochgründeck (1,827 m) give the place its impressive setting of rugged peaks and gentle alpine pastures.

Nearest towns Niedernfritz or St. Martin in the Tennengebirge with shops, tennis, swimming lake and restaurants approx. 7km, horse riding 6km, drag lift 7km, Hüttau copper mine 7km, ski amade (Austria's largest ski area) from 10km. Flachau-Wagrain-St. Johann Alpendorf ski area 14km (120 kilometers of perfect slopes and 45 modern cable cars). Long walking paths, tobogganing, ski tours from the house. Horse-drawn sleigh rides in St. Martin. In summer the hut is the ideal starting point for hikes. Go on mountain bike tours in the nearby Tennengebirge and to managed alpine pastures such as the Schwarzeneggalm and further towards Werfenweng! Therme Amadé 13km.

Entrance hall with couch and stairs to the upper floor. Refrigerator with water cooling (cold water runs through cooling hose). Upper floor: 2 double rooms, 1 triple room (through room). Attic: 2 bedrooms (1 of which is a through room) under the attic with 2 and 1 beds. Heating and hot water with wood stoves, 3 gas stoves available if required, solar power only for light (no sockets). In front of the house there are wide meadows and wonderful peace, garden seating area with grill. Water tub for cooling food and drinks.

Position

This rustic hut is completely isolated and in a very quiet location with a wonderful view of St. Michael in Lungau. Access is approx. 700m below, then a dirt road (access is possible for experienced off-roaders depending on the weather). The landlord will help you with your luggage. There is a ravine behind the hut.

St. Michael with shops, inns, swimming pool, tennis 1km. St. Michael is the ideal starting point for hikes or bike tours through the Lungau, to mountain lakes, side valleys and managed alpine pastures. Golf course 3km.

The hut is very lovingly and homely furnished. Ground floor: Hut parlor with seating area, couch, fireplace. Kitchen with wood stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, sink, pantry. Toilet, bathroom with shower. First floor: 1 double room with balcony and view of the gorge, 1 double room with couch (extra bed) if required, 1 four-bed room with bunk beds. From the first floor exit to the outside and to the terrace with seating and grill. Alpine wellness: In the garden there is a wooden-clad bathtub and a wood stove where you can heat the water. Enjoy the view of the town while you splash around in the warmth! In the former hay store there is a hobby room with table tennis table, wuzzler, darts, ideal for rainy days! Position

The hut is located in the middle of the hiking area, in the sunny Lungau, in the rear Murtal, just 1.5 hours from the source of the Mur. The quiet location is ideal for families, there are 2 alpine huts next door, otherwise it is a secluded location.

Distances

Next town Muhr 12.5km, Sticklerhütte 1.5km, Sankt Michael 24.5km. Rotgüldensee 8km. The hut is ideally located for hiking and biking. Every day to a different peak, a serviced hut or a mountain lake directly from the hut. Here, Austria's second longest river meanders along picturesque meanders through the high valley to the Murursprung at 1,989m, where crystal-clear spring water bubbles out of the mountain. You can now climb to the Murtörl or experienced climbers can climb through rocky terrain to the Schmalzscharte (2,444m). From the hut you can go on tours around the Schöderhorn and even into the Großarltal. The Mur cycle path has its first stage here: from the Murursprung it goes comfortably downhill, through forests, past mountain lakes, around 14.5km out to Muhr, and you can return comfortably with the valley bus! Come along with your e-bike! The Sticklerhütte, which is open in summer, has an e-bike charging station!

First floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a double and single bed. In the anteroom there is a couch that can be pulled out for 2 people if required. Heating with wood stove, hot water with bath stove, solar power. Basement: cool storage cellar for food, refrigerator. Seating area in front of the hut, grill. The hut, made of natural stone, is in a wonderfully quiet location surrounded by meadows. It is not far from the village, but still in the middle of nature, with a wonderful, wide view of the Bischofsmütze, Gosaukamm, Dachstein and Tennengebirge!

Nearest town St. Martin am Tennengebirge with shops, bakery, restaurants 4km. Seepark natural adventure pool with water slide, children's playground, restaurant and 6,700m² water surface in the town! The hut is an ideal starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours, many alpine pastures and huts invite you to take a break! In winter the hut is also ideally located: St. Martin drag lifts 4km, Dachstein-West ski region 7km, Snow-space Flachau 15km (15min).

The hut is located next to a barn and above a rarely inhabited alpine hut, in a wonderfully quiet area, with a view of the Hochkönig massif. Accessible via a forest road in summer, snow chains required in winter!

Nearest town Högmoos with shops, bakery 5km or Taxenbach 10km. Zell am See/Kaprun ski area 15km, wonderful ski touring area and tobogganing from the hut! Swimming pool 11km, bathing lake 15km, indoor pool, tennis, golf course, horse riding each 12km.

The hut is in a very quiet, secluded location, with a wonderful view, near the Prebersee nature reserve in Lungau. From the end of February to mid-May, access via the 2km forest path is closed. The hut can only be reached on foot during this time.

Distances

The 5.5 hectare Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 2.5 km away. Tip: circular hiking trail around the lake, mountain bike Preber tour, extensive cross-country skiing tours, tobogganing, ski tours. Serviced hut on the lake with local cuisine 2 km away, in summer many alpine pastures are also serviced. The nearest large town is Tamsweg 10 km away. Speiereck or Aineck ski areas 20 km away.

Fun for young and old! Zoom through the Kitzbühel Alps using only gravity and safely secured by braking. Town of Neukirchen 6km: train station, shopping, swimming pool, tennis, bike rental, horse riding. Own fish pond (fishing for a fee) 50m. Owner's inn 3km. Enjoy a bacon snack with home-made schnapps while your little ones learn where milk comes from, how to feed cows and collect fresh eggs.
