Direkt im familienfreundlichen Ski- und Wandergebiet Galsterberg entstand 2020 das gemütliche Almresort Sommerschnee mit fünf aus massivem Holzbau gefertigten Almhütten. Sie liegen auf einem Hochplateau, an der Bergstation der Gondelbahn, direkt an der Piste und Rodelbahn, gegenüber dem Kinderland und der Skischule. Genießen Sie autofreies „winterwonderland“! Im Winter sind die Hütten bequem über die Gondelbahn (auch mit Kleinkind, Rodel oder Kinderwagen) erreichbar. Ihr PKW bleibt am Parkplatz neben der Talstation (gratis). Von der Bergstation wird Ihnen das Gepäck direkt zur Hütte gebracht. Tipp: beim Kauf einer Mehrtageskarte (ab 3Tage) ist die An- und Areise am Samstag inklusive. Im Sommer kann man über die 5 km lange Bergstraße, die im Winter zur Rodelbahn genutzt wird, direkt zufahren.

Die Hütten sind direkt im familienfreundlichen Ski- und Wandergebiet Galsterberg, rund 10 km oberhalb von Pruggern im Ennstal. Das Skigebiet Galsterberg ist Mitglied von Ski Amadé, die Skischaukel Schladming-Dachstein erreichen Sie ab Talstation Pruggern in 9 km. Gasthaus mit Sonnenterrasse (nur Winterbetrieb) 50 m, Kinderland mit Spielplatz 50 m, Skischulsammelplatz direkt gegenüber. Brötchenservice können Sie an der Rezeption bestellen und dann von der Gondelbahn in nur 20m abholen. Die 5 km lange, beleuchtete Rodelbahn startet direkt vor den Hütten. Rodelverleih am Gasthof. Die Gondel fährt im Winter täglich von 8:30 – 16:15 und von Ende Dezember bis März auch Dienstag, Donnerstag, Samstag abends 19:00 – 21:30. Romantischer Winterwanderweg direkt ab Hütte. Im Sommer genießen Sie die Natur auf 1.600 m. Die Gondelbahn fährt im Sommer nicht, die Hütten sind direkt mit PKW erreichbar. Bewirtschaftete Hütte 1 km oberhalb. Weite Wanderungen ab Hütte. Hinter den Hütten kleines Bächlein, ideal zum Planschen, Speicherteich 500 m oberhalb. Reitstall, Tennisplatz im Ort. Badesee 15 km, Golf 20 km, Abenteuerpark 17 km, Einkauf Supermarkt im nächsten Ort in 15 km, kleiner Shop im Hüttendorf Pruggern in 4 km.

Furnishing

The five huts are built in a modern style. From the entrance hall with ski boot dryer you enter the basement. Here you will find 2 double rooms with shower/WC and 1 room with bunk bed, as well as the pine sauna. On the upper floor there is a double room with shower/WC right next to the living room. In the spacious attic you can enjoy the view of the mountain landscape through the large panoramic windows, and you can see the sun rising from the couch corner. The cozy parlor has a seating area by the fireplace, a kitchenette with bar, equipped with electric stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, large dining table. From the living room you come to the covered terrace, where you also have a large table and a kettle grill. The beds are made of pine wood, directly from the region. The sloping roof is covered with pine wood and gives the hut a homely scent. Ski room, WiFi, satellite TV available. Central heating air heat pump. We ask that you do not smoke in the huts! Baby bed, stair gate on request.

Position

On an area of 24,000 m² there are seven comfortable large huts (type SEP-STM) for up to 24 people and six luxurious smaller huts (type SPA-STM) for up to 12 people, as well as a reception hut with an apartment (APA-STM) for up to 10 people on the upper floor and a shop on the ground floor (open during peak season) with bread roll service, drinks, baked goods, groceries, cigarettes. The huts are in a very quiet and sunny location on a high plateau with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, the Ennstal and the Dachstein.

Distances

The huts are in the middle of the family-friendly Galsterberg ski and hiking area, 5km above the town of Pruggern. Accessible by car all year round. Pruggern is in the Ennstal, about 14km from Schladming and only 100km from the festival city of Salzburg. Village shop in Pruggern, supermarket 10km away. The Galsterberg ski area offers 20km of wide, perfectly groomed slopes and is part of the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise with 86 cable cars and lifts and 152km of groomed slopes and is also a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). Access to the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise from Haus im Ennstal in 10km. The 5km long illuminated natural toboggan run (one of the longest in Austria) runs past the huts! Ski school with childcare 300m down the valley from the valley station, easily accessible on skis. Alpine hut near the gondola, après ski in winter, pizzeria in summer: Happyalm. Of course there is also the possibility of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides. Riding stables and tennis in the village. In front of the sun terrace of the Versorgerhütte there is a 250m2 swimming pond for splashing and playing and a small playground. Table tennis available. Otherwise there is a swimming lake 10km away, golf 15km away or rafting 15km away! High ropes course with team course 13km away. Direct access to the Alpentour Steiermark cycle path possible! The cabins are built entirely from wood and are very comfortable and extremely cosy. Ground floor: Large cabin room (approx. 30m²) with upholstered seating area, satellite TV, WiFi, DVD/CD player, couch and fireplace. The indirect lighting and the chopped old wood create a homely atmosphere. Perfectly equipped kitchen corner with electric stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, beer tap (for those barrels that are available on site). High chair and cot (folding travel bed 60x120cm) available on request. Exit to the sun terrace with bench and grill. Bathroom with sauna, 2 showers and whirlpool. 1 toilet. First floor: 2 double rooms, 2 bedrooms for 2-4 people each with 1 double bed and pull-out couch (160x200cm), 2 shower/toilet, 1 toilet. Central heating, some with underfloor heating. Position

The hut is completely isolated, on the edge of the forest, in absolute peace and quiet, and the hillside location gives you a clear, wonderful view of the morning sun! It is the ideal place to relax, sit comfortably together and unwind!

Distances

Nearest larger town for shopping is Murau 10km, swimming pond 6km, ski areas Grebenzen 10km, Kreischberg 20km. Hiking trails and mountain bike trails from the hut. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt in Murau, the largest adventure center for wood. Here you can take part in wood walks in the summer months.

Furnishing

The hut has been renovated to be very comfortable. Ground floor: living room with seating area, wood stove, oven, small electric stove with 2 plates, refrigerator, dishwasher. Living room with cozy tiled stove and seating area, satellite TV. Stairs to the upper floor, where there is a four-bed room on the left and right under the roof (1x 2 double beds, 1x 4 single beds). Basement: shower/toilet. Heating with wood. In front of the hut there is a garden with deck chairs, fire bowl and a new winter garden where you can sit, eat or work in a sheltered area and enjoy the wonderful view. Fountain, seating area and grill available.

Position

The alpine hut is in a secluded location, at the foot of the Gritschenberg, on a sunny plateau, with a fantastic view of the local mountain Grimming and the upper Ennstal. Visit our tame ostriches in the enclosure behind the hut. Perhaps there are young chicks to admire? The largest birds on earth grow up to 3 m tall and feel very comfortable in our climatic conditions in summer and winter. 

Distances

Niederöblarn 2.5 km, snack bar 2.5 km, Galsterberg ski area 19 km. The hut is in an ideal location: the Hauser Kaibling - Planai - Hochwurzen ski area (ski amadé) is 25 km away and can be easily reached by car in 20 minutes via a paved, cleared road. Tauplitzalm 16 km and can be reached in 15 minutes, Donnersbachwald 25 km. Grimming Therme Bad Mitterndorf 23 km. Golf 8 km. Putterer See 12 km. From the hut you can go on wonderful hikes or bike tours into the Ennstal or the beautiful side valleys with their countless hiking routes and managed alpine pastures.

The cabin has been newly renovated inside. On one floor you will find the cozy, bright cabin room with a large seating area, perfectly equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven, dishwasher, wood stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, toaster and small bar. 1 double room, 1 triple room, 1 quadruple room (double bed + pull-out couch if required). 1 shower, 1 toilet. Satellite TV in every room and WiFi available. Heating with wood stove, underfloor heating. In the side extension is your own sauna! In front of the cabin there is a sun terrace with seating and grill. There is also a small playground and a fenced-in pond. There is a fireplace on the large lawn. In a quiet side valley of the Ennstal between Schladming and Liezen. The hut is isolated, 500m above the town of Irdning, with a wonderful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains.

Town with shopping, indoor swimming pool, horse riding, tennis and golf 7km, refreshment stop in the neighbourhood, inn 4km, swimming lake 8.5km, Planneralm ski area 20km, Donnersbachwald 22km, Tauplitz 15km, Dachstein-Tauern region 30km. Good advice for mountain tours from hut owners.

You will occupy the entire upper floor of the reception hut. The shop on the ground floor is usually open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the high season. The rest of the time you are completely alone in the house. Here you will find 3 bedrooms for 2-4 people each, each with a double bed and pull-out couch (160x200cm). 1 bathroom with shower/toilet. Spacious living room with comfortable couch corner with satellite TV, WiFi. Dining table, kitchen corner with electric stove, oven, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave. Beer tap (for those kegs that are available on site). High chair and cot (folding travel cot 60x120cm) available on request. Small ski depot with electric boot dryer. The apartment has a seating area with a grill outside, by the pond. We ask that you do not smoke in the apartment.

This rustic alpine hut is located above Niederöblarn, quiet and sunny, with a wide view of the Schladminger Tauern and the local mountain Grimming. 

Distances

Niederöblarn 4km, Pruggern ski area 10km, cross-country ski trail 4km. Tobogganing possible in the immediate vicinity. Wonderful hikes from the hut, swimming pool 6km, tennis court 4km, bike rental 6km away.

Nearest town with shops, restaurants, swimming pool, etc. Murau is about 12km away. Kreischberg or Frauenalpe ski area is 17km away, cross-country ski trail is 7km away, and there are countless hiking trails from the hut. Tip: Visit the Holzwelt in Murau, the largest adventure center for wood. Here you can take part in wood walks in the summer months.

The hut has a cozy living room with tiled stove and kitchen with wood stove, oven, gas cooker, refrigerator, next to it 1 bedroom with 3 beds, shower, toilet. The upper floor is accessible via an external staircase. Here is the 2nd bedroom with 1 double bed and 3 single beds under the roof. Heating with tiled stove, on request gas comfort heating for heat and water, solar power for light. In front of the hut there is a garden with seating area, grill, wood-fired sauna and large lawn. Bring your own bed linen and towels.

Position

This hut is located about 4 km from the town of Donnersbachwald, a romantic mountain village with many leisure activities in both winter and summer. Below the hut is a rarely inhabited farmhouse, otherwise a quiet, secluded location. Behind the hut is an alpine pasture with cows and calves. 

Distances

Next town Donnersbachwald 4km, with shops, restaurants, leisure park, swimming lake, tennis court. The Riesneralm ski area with 30km of groomed slopes, snow park, ski school and ski kindergarten is 4km away. The Riesneralm is an insider tip for families. 5ha of slopes and 5 slopes just for children! Modern snowmaking systems, a race track and the extensive free-ride area round off the offer. Hiking trails directly from the hut. In summer, take the Riesneralm cable car to visit the new summit adventure pool with an infinity pool at 1,900 meters! Come on a treasure hunt up to the summit plateau, where a high seas seat with a raft and a barefoot path await.

The hut is located in the middle of the Loferer Alm, right in the ski and hiking area. In summer it can be reached by car (1x toll), in winter via the gondola and a 5-minute walk uphill from the mountain station. If required, the landlord will bring your luggage from the valley station to the hut.

Distances

Lofer town for shopping 7km, ski area right in front of the hut, high-altitude cross-country skiing trail in front of the hut, hiking trails from the hut, serviced huts within walking distance. The Loferer Alm offers wonderful refreshment in summer: 2 mountain lakes on the Alm invite you to cool off! Loferer Almsee 500m below. Tip: The waterfall path leads down to the middle station of the cable car and offers 12 tingling stations. You hike through shady forest and along roaring waterfalls and if you're too tired you can take the cable car back to the Alm! You can cycle to the Steinplatte and Winklmoosalm on a mountain bike or e-bike!
