Position

The holiday home is in a wonderful, secluded location, very sunny, on the edge of the forest and directly on the banks of the Salza. The mountain river is usually very shallow and the gravel banks opposite make it ideal for children to play and splash around! You can walk upstream and let yourself drift to the house - what fun in the cool water!

Distances

Mariazell pilgrimage site with its famous basilica 4km away. Farm shop 1km away. The hiking trail goes right past the hut. Excursions to the Ötschergräben, the Gemeindealpe or Bürgeralpe and the picturesque Erlaufsee 4km away are particularly popular. The area is ideal for hikers and ambitious mountaineers. Opposite the hut there is a sandbank, lots of meadows and swimming in the river. Fishing opportunities 4km away at the Erlaufsee (fishing license for a fee).

The holiday home has on the ground floor: Large hut room with seating, tables and small bar, radio. Kitchen with electric stove, oven, wood stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine and seating area. Shower/toilet. First floor: Wardrobe with single bed, desk and passage to five-bed room with satellite TV. 1 small bedroom with pull-out bed and balcony. Living room (couch for sleeping if required) with satellite TV. In front of the house garden with deck chairs, seating area, grill. Opposite the hut is the shallow river bed, ideal for splashing around, playing and sunbathing. Heating with wood stove or electric. WiFi available. Please bring your own bed linen and towels!
