Position

The Family Resort is located on a sunny plateau in the middle of the picturesque village of Werfenweng, just 45 km south of Salzburg, 10 minutes from the Eisriesenwelt and Hohenwerfen Castle. In December 2023, 4 luxury chalets will open near the hotel, which can be used with all the resort's services (excluding food and drinks).

Rosnerköpfl gondola lift directly opposite with forest ropes course, mountain cart track, FunLiner, downhill skiing, mountain bike trails and restaurants. Werfenweng ski area with 29km of slopes in 1.5km, Ski Amade Hochkönig or Flachau each 24km. Cross-country skiing in the valley, toboggan run directly opposite. Countless summer and winter hiking trails from the hut. The chalets are the ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the Salzburg region and in the Ski Amade or Schladming-Dachstein region. The Tennengebirge offers numerous challenges for climbers, but cyclists and mountain bikers are not left out either. The hut is located in the middle of a large meadow, isolated, at the foot of the Riedingtal in the Salzburg Lungau. It is the ideal starting point for numerous winter and summer activities in this charming natural landscape.

Distances

Nearest town Zederhaus 6km or St. Michael im Lungau with shops, restaurants 16km. Großeck-Speiereck ski area 20km. Katschberg 23km. The Ski amadé region (entrance to the Flachauwinkel-Zauchensee-Kleinarl ski area) can be easily reached via the Tauern tunnel in 20 minutes (23km). Ideal starting point for ski tours from the hut. The Riedingtal is a nature park with a healthy high-altitude climate, with managed alpine pastures and quiet mountain lakes in summer. You can take the valley bus to the traffic-calmed Riedingtal. Numerous large and small lakes are located in this attractive nature reserve. Many managed alpine pastures with homemade products invite you to take a break. Mountain hikes to the nearby peaks offer views as far as the Großglockner!

This hut is located above the village, next to a farm, in the middle of the Salzburg Sportwelt Amadé, with a beautiful view of Radstadt and the Dachstein Mountains, sunny and quiet.

Distances

The lifts of the Radstadt-Altenmarkt ski area (member of Ski amadé) can be reached from the hut via a slope. Ski area and ski schools 1km by ski (inclined route) or 3km by car, Obertauern ski area about 15 minutes by car (seasonal operation until the beginning of May!), Tauern cross-country ski run 2km, 6km long illuminated toboggan run passes under the hut. In the town (3km) you will find a bus, train station, shops, swimming pool, tennis, golf course, riding stables. Hiking, riding and cycling trails directly in front of the hut. Swimming lake 10km. Amadé adventure thermal baths 10km.

Position

The hut is very sunny, absolutely quiet, with a wonderful view, in the middle of the skiing and hiking area on the Loferer Alm. In winter, you can reach it by cable car and then by chairlift and a slight incline (luggage transport with the hut owner) or non-skiers can walk 1km to the hut after the cable car. In summer, you can drive directly there in your own car (1x toll). In summer, the cows are on the mountain pasture and the landlord comes by twice a day to milk them.

The hut is ideally located for both winter and summer sports enthusiasts! Around 8 km south of Uttendorf in the Salzach Valley, in the beautiful Salzburg region, between the regions of Kitzbühel and Zell am See. The alpine hut is located near a sparsely populated alpine hut, otherwise isolated, by a small stream. 

Distances

Weißsee ski area (glacier lifts up to 2,600m with 18km of groomed slopes, 7 lifts) 5km, ski bus stop about 400m below the hut. Kaprun/Zell am See ski area 28km. The new Kaprun-Maiskogel-Kitzsteinhorn cable car takes you directly to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area in 9km. Kitzbühel ski area (entrance Hollersbach) 20km. The nearest place where you can find shops and restaurants is Uttendorf 8km, walking paths from the house, swimming pond 8km, tennis 8km. The area is an El Dorado for cyclists!

In this hut you live on the upper floor. The basement has been converted for agricultural use when the hut owners are on the mountain pasture in the autumn and animals live in the neighboring stable. You are alone in the house. On the upper floor you will find the hut living room with a fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, wood stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, satellite TV. Only 1km from the center of Saalbach, but still absolutely quiet and surrounded by meadows. In winter access up to approx. 200m depending on snow conditions (snow chains may be required); in summer access up to the hut.

Distances

Here it's time to strap on your skis and head to the slopes, which are directly accessible via the Schattberg ski route! You have a direct connection to all ski lifts in Saalbach/Hinterglemm/Leogang. 270km of slopes, 70 lifts, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, etc. and of course après ski await you! Ideal as a starting point for hikes in the Glemmtal, bike rental, tennis, swimming pool, etc. in the village 1km away. The Saalbach region offers 400km of hiking trails, and those who prefer to pedal can head to the Saalbach Hinterglemm bike paradise on over 400km of well-signposted bike routes and trails. Saalbach Hinterglemm is the largest bike region in Austria. For families there are themed hiking trails, adventure playgrounds, swimming fun and many attractions.

This very well-kept hut has been deliberately left quaint and rustic. You will find a cozy cabin room with a seating area and rocking chair. The heating stove and the open fireplace (wood, and wood briquettes available in winter) ensure a homely atmosphere. The kitchenette has a gas stove, and there is a cool cellar. The bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed. Hygienic outhouse accessible from outside (always emptied when cleaned). Lighting using battery-powered LED lamps. Furniture safe available! In front of the hut there is a fountain and a small stream. In the garden there is a fireplace and a brick garden grill, as well as seating and deck chairs. Enjoy the view of the center of Saalbach, the opposite side of the mountain and the Glemmtal from the large wooden relaxation cradle for 2 people! Let yourself be pampered: the price includes use of the wellness area in the owner's apartment building 400m away. Here you will find a sauna, infrared loungers and a place to charge batteries. There is also a physiotherapist here who can be booked on request.

Position

In the middle of the family-friendly Fageralm ski and hiking area, next to the FAG-SBG hut, with a wonderful view of the Dachstein panorama. The Fageralm ski area is a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). The Fageralm is connected to the other ski areas by a free ski bus. Directly in Forstau, on the Fageralm, you will find 7 lifts with 15km of slopes. 

Distances

The hut is located directly on the ski slope and in the alpine pasture and hiking area. In winter, access by ski lift (chair and drag lift) and descent to the hut or footpath from the chair lift 1.5 km. Luggage transport (passenger transport also possible on request) by the landlord with a skidoo. Tobogganing possible from the hut, serviced hut 150m. Accessible by car in summer, ideal starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains. Shopping, horse riding, tennis, golf, horse-drawn sleigh rides, etc. in the valley in the towns of Forstau and Radstadt 10 - 14 km away.

This rustic hut is completely isolated and in a very quiet location with a wonderful view of St. Michael in Lungau. Access is approx. 700m below, then a dirt road (access is possible for experienced off-roaders depending on the weather). The landlord will help you with your luggage. There is a ravine behind the hut.

St. Michael with shops, inns, swimming pool, tennis 1km. St. Michael is the ideal starting point for hikes or bike tours through the Lungau, to mountain lakes, side valleys and managed alpine pastures. Golf course 3km.

The hut is located in the middle of the hiking area, in the sunny Lungau, in the rear Murtal, just 1.5 hours from the source of the Mur. The quiet location is ideal for families, there are 2 alpine huts next door, otherwise it is a secluded location.

Distances

Next town Muhr 12.5km, Sticklerhütte 1.5km, Sankt Michael 24.5km. Rotgüldensee 8km. The hut is ideally located for hiking and biking. Every day to a different peak, a serviced hut or a mountain lake directly from the hut. Here, Austria's second longest river meanders along picturesque meanders through the high valley to the Murursprung at 1,989m, where crystal-clear spring water bubbles out of the mountain. You can now climb to the Murtörl or experienced climbers can climb through rocky terrain to the Schmalzscharte (2,444m). From the hut you can go on tours around the Schöderhorn and even into the Großarltal. The Mur cycle path has its first stage here: from the Murursprung it goes comfortably downhill, through forests, past mountain lakes, around 14.5km out to Muhr, and you can return comfortably with the valley bus! Come along with your e-bike! The Sticklerhütte, which is open in summer, has an e-bike charging station!

The hut was newly built in 2016 and has on the ground floor: large, cozy living room with seating area, sofa bed, fireplace for cooking and heating, dining table and kitchenette with sink. 1 shower, 1 toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a double and single bed. In the anteroom there is a couch that can be pulled out for 2 people if required. Heating with wood stove, hot water with bath stove, solar power. Basement: cool storage cellar for food, refrigerator. Seating area in front of the hut, grill. We ask that you do not smoke in the hut.
