Position

In the middle of the family-friendly Fageralm ski and hiking area, next to the FOR-SBG hut, with a wonderful view of the Dachstein panorama. The Fageralm ski area is a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). The Fageralm is connected to the other ski areas by a free ski bus. Directly in Forstau, on the Fageralm you will find 7 lifts with 15km of slopes. 

Distances

The hut is located directly on the ski slope and in the alpine pasture and hiking area. In winter, access by ski lift (chair and drag lift) and descent to the hut or footpath from the chair lift 1.5 km. Luggage transport (passenger transport also possible on request) by the landlord with a skidoo. Tobogganing possible from the hut, serviced hut 150m. In summer, accessible by car, ideal starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains. Shopping, horse riding, tennis, golf, horse-drawn sleigh rides, etc. in the valley near the towns of Forstau and Radstadt, 10 - 14 km away.

Position

The Family Resort is located on a sunny plateau in the middle of the picturesque village of Werfenweng, just 45 km south of Salzburg, 10 minutes from the Eisriesenwelt and Hohenwerfen Castle. In December 2023, 4 luxury chalets will open near the hotel, which can be used with all the resort's services (excluding food and drinks).

Rosnerköpfl gondola lift directly opposite with forest ropes course, mountain cart track, FunLiner, downhill skiing, mountain bike trails and restaurants. Werfenweng ski area with 29km of slopes in 1.5km, Ski Amade Hochkönig or Flachau each 24km. Cross-country skiing in the valley, toboggan run directly opposite. Countless summer and winter hiking trails from the hut. The chalets are the ideal starting point for numerous excursions in the Salzburg region and in the Ski Amade or Schladming-Dachstein region. Position

The hut is in a very quiet, secluded location, with a wonderful view, near the Prebersee nature reserve in Lungau. From the end of February to mid-May, access via the 2km forest path is closed. The hut can only be reached on foot during this time.

Distances

The 5.5 hectare Prebersee, a paradise for anglers, is 2.5 km away. Tip: circular hiking trail around the lake, mountain bike Preber tour, extensive cross-country skiing tours, tobogganing, ski tours. Serviced hut on the lake with local cuisine 2 km away, in summer many alpine pastures are also serviced. The nearest large town is Tamsweg 10 km away. Speiereck or Aineck ski areas 20 km away.

High above the town of Neukirchen, in the Trattenbachtal, in an absolutely secluded and peaceful location, in the middle of the hiking and alpine pasture area. The Trattenbachtal can be reached via the Salzach Valley. In Neukirchen you drive north and come to the Kitzbühel Alps. Here, between lush alpine meadows and small mountain streams, lies the beautiful alpine pasture.

The alpine hut used to be run and is now rented out to 1 group on a weekly basis. On the ground floor is the large, cozy guest room, where there is plenty of space around the cozy tiled stove. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with a refrigerator, glass washer, electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine. Utility room with freezer, washing machine, space for bikes. 1 shower, 1 toilet. First floor: 2 four-bed rooms, each with a double bed and bunk bed, 1 room with a double bed and 2 bunk beds, 1 room with a double bed, bunk bed, shower and sink. 1 toilet, sink. In front of the hut there is a sunny terrace, seating, grill, large garden with a fountain and deck chairs. In the garden hut you have your own pine sauna! There is also a 16 amp socket for charging electric cars and sockets for e-bikes (charged with a meter at 0.40/kwh). Behind the hut there is a fenced-off toilet and a drinks machine, if thirsty hikers pass by they can help themselves here. Heating with oil radiators. Satellite TV, high-speed WiFi available. Next to the cabin is an empty stable. The cabin has electricity from sustainable hydropower! No party guests please.

Ideal starting point for hikes around the Wildkogel, serviced hut 800m above (open in summer high season), in summer the 4km long mountain go-kart track ends 800m above the hut at the middle station. Fun for young and old! Zoom through the Kitzbühel Alps using only gravity and safely secured by braking. Town of Neukirchen 6km: train station, shopping, swimming pool, tennis, bike rental, horse riding. Own fish pond (fishing for a fee) 50m. Owner's inn 3km. Enjoy a bacon snack with home-made schnapps while your little ones learn where milk comes from, how to feed cows and collect fresh eggs.

The fenced hut is in a completely isolated location, in wonderful peace and quiet. Surrounded only by cows and sometimes horses, in the middle of the Nockberge Biosphere Park and the Falkert am See alpine pasture area. Access by car via the developed road to Falkert am See, where there is a public car park. Hike to the hut 2km (approx. 30 minutes) through cow pastures. Luggage transport on arrival and departure by the landlord.

Access via a dead end road that ends directly in the carport at the house, access to the house is covered. Wide glacier fields, deep green mountain lakes and impressive waterfalls characterize this beautiful cultural landscape.

Großkirchheim 2km, here you will find shops, several restaurants, a natural outdoor pool, a beach volleyball court, tennis, and a climbing tower. There is 1 lift in Großkirchheim in 2km, otherwise Heiligenblut 15km. Here you can expect 55km of slopes and 12 lifts, a ski school. Lienz 27km, Mölltal glacier 40km (accessible 11 months a year). Großglockner Resort Kals- Matrei ski area with 45km of slopes and 17 modern lifts in 55km. Inn 200m. 2.5km long cross-country ski run in Großkirchheim. Nature hiking trails from the hut, beautiful bathing lakes (e.g. Tristacher See near Lienz) 30km. The family-friendly Glockner cycle path (R8) runs through the Mölltal valley on a length of 80km from Heiligenblut via Großkirchheim to Möllbrücke. Heiligenblut is 15 km away at the foot of Austria's highest mountain: the Grossglockner at 3,798 m.
