Position

The hut is located above the town of St. Urban, a small town with a bathing lake, below the Simonhöhe ski area, completely alone, on the slope.

Ort St. Urban 4km, Strandbad Urbansee 4km oder Ossiacher See 18km, Skigebiet Simonhöhe mit 7 Schleppliften, 1 Babylift und insgesamt 12 Pistenkilometer in 3km. Bei genügend Schneelage kann man vom Skigebiet zur Hütte zurück abfahren – bis ca. 500m.

The rustic hut has a living room on the ground floor with a dining table, wood stove, electric stove, kettle, coffee machine. Shower/toilet, refrigerator. First floor: 1 bedroom with large bunk bed for up to 6 people and 2 single beds (electric radiator), 1 bedroom with double bed and bunk bed. (Oil stove). Heating electric or with wood and oil stove. Electricity available. In front of the hut there are wide meadows, a grill and a wonderful view.

The holiday cabin is located on the Koralpe, in a clearing in the forest, very quiet. There are a few holiday homes in the area, but you are completely undisturbed at the cabin and have a beautiful view.

The hut is located in the Mölltal, on a slope, very quiet, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park with its over two hundred 3000m peaks. Access via a dead end road that ends directly in the carport at the house, access to the house is covered. Wide glacier fields, deep green mountain lakes and impressive waterfalls characterize this beautiful cultural landscape.

Distances

Großkirchheim 2km, here you will find shops, several restaurants, a natural outdoor pool, a beach volleyball court, tennis, and a climbing tower. There is 1 lift in Großkirchheim in 2km, otherwise Heiligenblut 15km. Here you can expect 55km of slopes and 12 lifts, a ski school. Lienz 27km, Mölltal glacier 40km (accessible 11 months a year). Großglockner Resort Kals- Matrei ski area with 45km of slopes and 17 modern lifts in 55km. Inn 200m. 2.5km long cross-country ski run in Großkirchheim. Nature hiking trails from the hut, beautiful bathing lakes (e.g. Tristacher See near Lienz) 30km. The family-friendly Glockner cycle path (R8) runs through the Mölltal valley on a length of 80km from Heiligenblut via Großkirchheim to Möllbrücke. Heiligenblut is 15 km away at the foot of Austria's highest mountain: the Grossglockner at 3,798 m. Here you can experience the most beautiful hikes and the most scenic tours in the Hohe Tauern National Park. Enjoy the gigantic view of the mountain massif.

Frantschach 4.5km, Wolfsberg 9km, Weinebene 20km, St. Andrä bathing lake 25km, Wolfsberg outdoor pool 12km. Walking paths from the hut, small stream under the hut. The Lavanttal offers more than 1000km of marked, family-friendly hiking trails and is considered an Eldorado for mountain bikers!

Close to the Klippitztörl ski and hiking area, surrounded by several holiday cottages. Sunny, on a slight slope. 

Distances

The Klippitztörl is just an hour's drive from Graz or Klagenfurt. In winter, the family ski area offers 6 lifts, a ski school and a few rustic huts to stop off at. It is only 250m from the hut to the slopes. In summer, this is the ideal starting point for hikes through the forests full of mushrooms and berries. The climb up the Geierkogel, Hohenwart or Zirbitzkogel (2100 to 2400m) is an experience that lets you forget the stress of everyday life. Summer toboggan run at the Hohenwart chairlift in 700m, adventure climbing garden and kiddy park 1km. Bad Sankt Leonhard 14km, town of Wolfsberg 20km.

The hut is located in a quiet, sunny, beautiful alpine landscape, in the middle of the Dachstein-West region, on the Zwieselalm. In summer it can be reached either by car via a toll road (7km forest path) and a 20-minute walk, or via the cable car and a 20-minute walk. Luggage must be carried in a backpack.

Wonderful hikes or mountain bike tours from the hut. Nearest town Gosau 7km. Moor lake 1km. Serviced hut 250m.

The rustic hut has a living room with a seating area and a kitchenette with a wood stove and oven. Electric stove (2 plates), kettle, coffee machine available. Small bedroom with double bed (160cm wide), stairs from the living room to the attic, where there is sleeping space for up to 8 people. There is a shower with hot water (electric boiler) on the side, otherwise water can be fetched from the well in front of the hut. Toilet. In the basement is the old "poacher's hideout". In 20 minutes by car (30 km) you can also reach Warth and thus the largest connected ski area in Austria: Ski Arlberg! 305 spectacular kilometers of ski slopes offer winter sports enthusiasts almost endless possibilities. The Lech Valley is a natural jewel. Crystal-clear water and rushing streams, flowering alpine meadows and impressive gorges, high alpine peaks and lovely hiking trails, the turquoise-blue Lech is considered the last wild river in the Northern Limestone Alps. The Jöchelspitzbahn takes you up to 1800m even in summer. Leisure cyclists and mountain bikers can enjoy wonderful panoramic trails on a total of 27 bike routes and on the Lech cycle path. It almost goes without saying that fans of rafting and kayaking feel at home on the Lech. In summer, the Lechtal Active Card is included, which can be used for numerous activities throughout the nature park. A crystal-clear mountain lake also glitters in the village.

The chalet is unique and furnished with great attention to detail. The exquisite interior design creates a special flair and a lot of cabin magic. On one floor you will find the open cooking and dining area with corner bench and fully equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances, fully automatic coffee machine. The fireplace effect fire brings a homely feeling to the living-sleeping area and the dining room. Comfortable daybed (1.40x2.00m) in the relaxation area (bedroom for children or for relaxing). Bathroom with shower, toilet. A cozy attic is set up under the chalet roof. Your private SPA includes a sauna, exit to the terrace, where the stainless steel hot pot is located.
