Position

The fenced hut is in a completely isolated location, in wonderful peace and quiet. Surrounded only by cows and sometimes horses, in the middle of the Nockberge Biosphere Park and the Falkert am See alpine pasture area. Access by car via the developed road to Falkert am See, where there is a public car park. Hike to the hut 2km (approx. 30 minutes) through cow pastures. Luggage transport on arrival and departure by the landlord.

The non-smoking cabin has on the ground floor: living room with seating area, kitchenette with wood stove, oven, gas stove. 1 twin bedroom. 1 toilet. First floor: 1 twin bedroom, 1 four-bed room with double bed and pull-out couch if required. Basement: shower, solar refrigerator. Solar power 220 volts for light, refrigerator and charger (mobile phone). Heating with wood stove. In front of the cabin terrace with seating and grill. Lots of meadow, fountain, small playground and wonderful wide view! The water is tested quality drinking water!

Position

The small hut is located about 9km above Lake Ossiach, on the Gerlitzen Alpe, surrounded by forest and meadow, absolutely quiet and isolated. The hut can be reached by car up to 400m away, in summer you could drive directly there in an off-road vehicle, otherwise you have to walk to the hut. 

Distances

Bodensdorf 9km, Gerlitzen summit 3km, Ossiachersee 9km, Sepplhütte (serviced) 400m, tip: Seppenhütten circular hiking trail (walking time approx. 3:20)! The excursion destinations Affenberg, Finsterbach waterfalls or the Landskron castle ruins on the western shore of the Ossiachersee are excursion destinations for the whole family. There is also an adventure park on the Gerlitzen with over 160 exciting stations! Many marked hiking and mountain bike routes in the area!

Furnishing

The small hut has one room with a seating area, a fold-out couch, a very well-equipped kitchenette with an electric stove, oven, wood-burning stove, coffee machine, kettle, and plenty of dishes. The hut has electricity, but water is only available in front of the hut at the well. Outhouse. In front of the hut there is a meadow with seating, deck chairs and a grill. Enjoy the absolute seclusion and peace. Heating with a wood-burning stove or electric.

The holiday home is located above Zwickenberg, in the municipality of Oberdrauburg, on the edge of the forest, in absolute peace and quiet! The first glance from the new terrace at the fantastic, wide view of the valley will clear your head and you can finally relax!

Oberdrauburg with inn, cafe, shops, swimming pool, tennis 6km away. Inns, wine tavern in Zwickenberg 3km away. Long hikes directly from the house! Swimming lake 24km away. On the Drau cycle path down in Oberdrauburg you can cycle to Lienz or Spittal, and you can also return by train! Next to the house there is an empty building with a garage that can be used.

With a wonderful view of Lake Millstatt, on the 2,088m high Tschiernock, in a quiet, very sunny, secluded location. Access via a 7km long asphalt toll road (1 weekly ticket included in the price) to 100m below the hut. You can park here or drive directly to the hut via a meadow path.

Next town Seeboden with restaurants, shops, beach, tennis 7km away. Riding stables 5km, golf course 10km away. Ideal starting point for hikes or bike tours to managed alpine pastures. Tip: the Millstätter See Höhensteig: to the homepage

Pantry, bathroom with shower, hair dryer, toilet with washbasin. Stairs to the upper floor, where there is an open attic room, from which you can get to the 3 bedrooms (1x large double room, 2 small attic rooms - 1x French bed 140cm wide, 1 x 2 single beds). Smoking is not permitted in the hut. The romantic fire in the living room provides cozy warmth, solar power, emergency power generator, natural refrigerator in the well in front of the hut. Carport for 1 car available. In front of the hut there is a garden with seating area, barbecue area, well and a wide view over the alpine pasture. Small pond about 80m next door.

Two guesthouses within about 4 km, shopping facilities in Oberdrauburg. Ideal starting point for long hikes through forests, to crystal-clear mountain lakes and raised bogs with interesting flora.
