The farmhouse is on the outskirts of St. Veit, very sunny and quiet, next to the farm. St. Veit is in the heart of the Salzburg region, high above the Salzach Valley. Here on a sunny plateau there is a mild healing climate and the area is known for numerous sunny days! Regional cuisine and varied culture ensure an unforgettable holiday experience. Thanks to its central location, St. Veit is also an ideal starting point for day trips to Hohenwerfen Castle and the nearby Eisriesenwelt, the Celtic town of Hallein with its show mine, the Liechtenstein Gorge, the Mozart city of Salzburg, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road and the Krimml Waterfalls.

St. Urban town 4km, lido at the local Urbansee 4km, Ossiacher See 18km. The Simonhöhe ski area with 7 drag lifts, 1 baby lift and a total of 12km of slopes can be reached by car in 3km. If there is enough snow, you can ski from the ski area to the hut. Guest house 1km.

The hut is located in the Mölltal, on a slope, very quiet, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park with its over two hundred 3000m peaks. Access via a dead end road that ends directly in the carport at the house, access to the house is covered. Wide glacier fields, deep green mountain lakes and impressive waterfalls characterize this beautiful cultural landscape.

Großkirchheim 2km, here you will find shops, several restaurants, a natural outdoor pool, a beach volleyball court, tennis, and a climbing tower. There is 1 lift in Großkirchheim in 2km, otherwise Heiligenblut 15km. Here you can expect 55km of slopes and 12 lifts, a ski school. Lienz 27km, Mölltal glacier 40km (accessible 11 months a year). Großglockner Resort Kals- Matrei ski area with 45km of slopes and 17 modern lifts in 55km. Inn 200m. 2.5km long cross-country ski run in Großkirchheim. Nature hiking trails from the hut, beautiful bathing lakes (e.g. Tristacher See near Lienz) 30km. The family-friendly Glockner cycle path (R8) runs through the Mölltal valley on a length of 80km from Heiligenblut via Großkirchheim to Möllbrücke. Heiligenblut is 15 km away at the foot of Austria's highest mountain: the Grossglockner at 3,798 m. Distances

The Klippitztörl is just an hour's drive from Graz or Klagenfurt. In winter, the family ski area offers 6 lifts, a ski school and a few rustic huts to stop off at. It is only 250m from the hut to the slopes. In summer, this is the ideal starting point for hikes through the forests full of mushrooms and berries. The climb up the Geierkogel, Hohenwart or Zirbitzkogel (2100 to 2400m) is an experience that lets you forget the stress of everyday life. Summer toboggan run at the Hohenwart chairlift in 700m, adventure climbing garden and kiddy park 1km. Bad Sankt Leonhard 14km, town of Wolfsberg 20km.
