Position

The alpine hut is in a sunny and quiet location, in the middle of the Lachtal skiing and hiking area. Below is the landlord's second hut (KAI-STM) and 2 huts for private use. There are meadows around the hut, a pond below and a small natural playground.

Distances

Ski slope that leads to the Lachtal ski area, right in front of the hut! The Lachtal is one of the largest and most snow-sure ski areas in Styria. There is not only a fun children's area, 35 km of slopes, but also plenty of space for freeriders. Cross-country ski trail and toboggan run in the immediate vicinity. Ski rental can be organized directly on site. Inn 1km, shop 2km (in season), otherwise nearest town 10km. Ideal for mountain bikers and hikers. Swimming pool 14km, Aqua Lux Fohnsdorf thermal baths 30km, Red Bull Ring Spielberg 35km, Styrian Mountain Golf Club Mariahof 20km.

The hut was rebuilt from scratch and luxuriously and lovingly furnished. Ground floor: hut lounge with couch corner, satellite TV, fireplace, exit to the sun terrace, dining table, kitchen corner perfectly equipped with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. 1 shower/toilet. 1 double room with satellite TV. First floor: 2 double rooms with satellite TV, 1 shower/toilet. Basement: wellness area with sauna, waterfall shower, bathtub, relaxation room with satellite TV. Toilet, pantry. Washing machine available. In front of the hut there is a sun terrace with seating and grill. Entire hut with underfloor heating (geothermal energy). WiFi available. Below the hut there is a pond for splashing around or ice skating as well as a natural playground. Socket for electric cars.

Position

Tauplitz is known for its fairytale winter landscape, cozy ski huts and wonderful sunny location. The hut is completely alone, in the middle of the ski and hiking area, 42 kilometers of slopes, ski schools, hiking and bike trail network right outside the door! In summer, access with your own car (toll fee). In winter, you can drive to the valley station of the Mitterstein gondola lift and there is a parking lot there. (Fee as of 2023: approx. € 30 / week). The hut is located below the middle station, accessible via a short descent or on foot via the slope. The landlord can help with luggage transport with the Skidoo (fee € 40). You can also drive up to the Schönialm, which is about 250m below (toll road and parking fee € 30 / week). From here, luggage/passenger transport with a snowcat (for a fee of approx. € 80) from 5 p.m. after the slopes close.

Ski and hiking area directly in front of the hut, ski school at the gondola, winter hiking trail at the gondola mountain station, Bad Mitterndorf 8km, Tauplitz 14km, Bad Aussee 25km. Managed alpine pasture in winter 250m. In summer you are in the middle of the Tauplitzalm hiking area with its 6 crystal-clear mountain lakes and numerous managed alpine pastures. Tip: cycle downhill on the Tauplitzalmstraße to Bad Mitterndorf, along the Salzkammergut cycle path to Tauplitz, take the cable car up (free bike transport) and across the sunny plateau, past huts and mountain lakes back to the hut.

You live on the first floor: here you enter the hut into a living room with a seating area, fireplace, satellite TV and kitchenette with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle. 2 double rooms, 1 shower/toilet. Heating with wood stove and electric. In front of the hut there is a seating area with a grill and deck chairs. On the ground floor there is an empty stable. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic view from the Dachstein over the Grimming to the ridge in unique peace and quiet.

Position

Our Dachsteinblick hut village is located on an area of 30,000m², about 4km above the town of Pruggern in the Ennstal. In winter you are right in the ski area and on the toboggan run, and in summer you are high up in the fresh mountain air, with a wonderful view of the Dachstein and the evening sun.

Distances

Our huts are located in the middle of the family-friendly Galsterberg ski and hiking area, right next to the valley station of the gondola, accessible by car all year round. The town of Pruggern is 5km away, in the Ennstal, about 14km from Schladming and only 100km from the festival city of Salzburg. Access to the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise from Haus im Ennstal in 9km. Ski school with childcare just 100m opposite, right next to the gondola. The 5km long illuminated natural toboggan run (one of the longest in Austria) ends at the hut village. Of course there is also the option of snowshoe hiking or horse-drawn sleigh rides. In the hut village there is a 200m2 swimming pond with a small playground. Table tennis available. There is a managed alpine hut by the gondola, après ski in winter, pizzeria in summer: Happyalm. Riding stables and tennis in the village, swimming lake 10km away, golf 15km away or rafting 15km away! High ropes course with team course 12km away. Direct access to the Alpentour Steiermark cycle path possible! Wonderful hiking trails to managed alpine pastures from the house! Bread roll service! Charging station for your electric car (22kw, type 2) on site!

Furnishing

All 12 cabins are made of wood and have an entrance hall with ski boot dryer on the ground floor, a living room with a seating area by the fireplace, satellite TV, an integrated kitchen with an electric stove, oven, fridge with a small freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster. Beer tap (for those kegs that are available on site). 1 double room with shower. 1 toilet. First floor: 2 double rooms, 1 four-bed room with a double bed and, if required, a pull-out couch (160x200cm) with shower/toilet. Sauna with shower/toilet. High chair and cot (folding travel cot 60x120cm) available on request. Each cabin has central heating, WiFi, and a terrace in front of the cabin with seating and a grill. We ask that you do not smoke in the cabins!

Position

The hut is located in the middle of the Präbichl ski arena, right next to the Zellerhang and the Polster Quattro. Very sunny and absolutely quiet with a view of the mountains and the Grübl mountain lake. The hut can be reached by car up to 50m below.

Distances

Skiarena Präbichl ski area, Polster Quattro chairlift (not open in summer) next to the hut. Ski school, practice lift, illuminated toboggan run nearby. Ski rental at the valley station. 21km long cross-country ski trails in the Eisenerzer Ramsau up to 1064m above sea level, 10km away. Indoor swimming pool 10km away. In summer you can take a single chairlift to almost 2000m in just 11 minutes! From here there are numerous marked hiking trails in the Hochschwab South region and the Eisenerzer Alps. An Eldorado for paragliders. Styrian Erzberg 8km away. The Grübl mountain lake Präbichl with PADI/CMAS diving school (underwater petting zoo) 350m away offers perfect relaxation after a hike or mountain tour. Position

The hut is located on the Lindberg, surrounded by trees, very quiet, with a wonderful view of the village of Scheifling.

Distances

Scheifling is 2.5 km below the hut. Here you will find shops, restaurants, tennis courts and a 2.5 hectare swimming pond with a playground. The Mur cycle path also passes through the village and offers the perfect starting point for long tours through the varied landscape. Grebenzen ski area 17km, Lachtal 19km, Kreischberg 29km. Red Bull Ring 40km. A highlight for the whole family: a ride on the Murtalbahn. Additional offers in the region include golf courses and horse riding. The hut is also a perfect starting point for hikes and Nordic walking.

The hut has a cozy living room on the ground floor with a seating area and kitchenette with a wood stove, oven, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine. Stairs to the top floor, where there is a cozy twin room with a balcony under the attic. Next to the living room there is a shower/toilet and a large double room. The hut is in a secluded location, directly on the banks of the Gellsee, at the foot of the Lachtal in Styria. The Gellsee is an idyllic raised moor lake where you can also swim in the summer. The lake is only for residents.

Nearest town Oberwölz 12km, Scheifling 16km, Lachtal 3km, In summer ideal for mountain bikers, extensive hikes to managed huts! Right by the lake is a moorland plant educational trail where you can walk on larch wood walkways.

Next town with shops is Stein an der Enns 8km, managed alpine pastures where you can get butter, cheese, bread (around June - September) from 1 hour walk from the hut! St. Nikolai village with shop, inn 100m, swimming pool 3km, Aich bathing pond 30km. The hut is the ideal starting point for hikes in the Sölktäler Nature Park!

The rustic hut consists of 1 room. There are 2 bunk beds, a kitchenette with a wood stove, oven, gas cooker (2 burners). Sitting area. Light via photovoltaic system, 1 socket.
