Position

The small hut is located about 9km above Lake Ossiach, on the Gerlitzen Alpe, surrounded by forest and meadow, absolutely quiet and isolated. The hut can be reached by car up to 400m away, in summer you could drive directly there in an off-road vehicle, otherwise you have to walk to the hut.

Bodensdorf 9km, Gerlitzen summit 3km, Ossiachersee 9km, Sepplhütte (serviced) 400m, tip: Seppenhütten circular hiking trail (walking time approx. 3:20)! The excursion destinations Affenberg, Finsterbach waterfalls or the Landskron castle ruins on the western shore of the Ossiachersee are excursion destinations for the whole family. There is also an adventure park on the Gerlitzen with over 160 exciting stations! Many marked hiking and mountain bike routes in the area!

Furnishing

The small hut has one room with a seating area, a fold-out couch, a very well-equipped kitchenette with an electric stove, oven, wood-burning stove, coffee machine, kettle, and plenty of dishes. The hut has electricity, but water is only available in front of the hut at the well. Outhouse. In front of the hut there is a meadow with seating, deck chairs and a grill. Enjoy the absolute seclusion and peace. Heating with a wood-burning stove or electric.

Distances

St. Urban town 4km, lido at the local Urbansee 4km, Ossiacher See 18km. The Simonhöhe ski area with 7 drag lifts, 1 baby lift and a total of 12km of slopes can be reached by car in 3km. If there is enough snow, you can ski from the ski area to the hut. Guest house 1km.

Position

Close to the Klippitztörl ski and hiking area, surrounded by several holiday cottages. Sunny, on a slight slope. 

Distances

The Klippitztörl is just an hour's drive from Graz or Klagenfurt. In winter, the family ski area offers 6 lifts, a ski school and a few rustic huts to stop off at. It is only 250m from the hut to the slopes. In summer, this is the ideal starting point for hikes through the forests full of mushrooms and berries. The climb up the Geierkogel, Hohenwart or Zirbitzkogel (2100 to 2400m) is an experience that lets you forget the stress of everyday life. Summer toboggan run at the Hohenwart chairlift in 700m, adventure climbing garden and kiddy park 1km. Bad Sankt Leonhard 14km, town of Wolfsberg 20km.

You live in the front part of one of a total of 3 semi-detached houses. Here you are completely separated spatially and have your own entrance. Position

The hut is very close to the Austrian border, in Bavaria, in the middle of the alpine pasture, in the Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte skiing and hiking area. (14 lifts, 44km of slopes). You can leave your car in the car park in Seegatterl and from there take the cable car up to the Winklmoosalm, or take your own car (4km driveway). It is then about 650m from the Winklmoosalm car park to the hut. The hut owner will help with luggage transport. In summer, there is access to the alpine pasture.

Next town with shops, inns Reit im Winkl 9km, ski area with ski school in the immediate vicinity, also over 35km of cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails, which are stroller and family friendly in summer. Alpine inn 150m. The area is also ideal for mountain bikers or climbers. Tennis, outdoor pool, indoor pool, golf in the town. Idyllic natural bathing lake Weitsee 5km away.

The hut is located in the north-eastern part of the Mühlviertel, about 6 km from Liebenau, in a very quiet, sunny, secluded location. Liebenau is the highest town in Upper Austria and, with the Tannermoor nature reserve, the largest forest raised bog in Austria! 

Distances

Liebenau with shops, inn, tennis 6km. In winter, the hut is only 10 minutes by car from 3 family ski areas! Both the Liebenau ski lifts and the Aichelberg lifts Karlstift and Viehberg offer the best slopes, a children's area and a ski school. From the sun terrace of the ski hut you can marvel at the skills of the little ones. The Liebenau ski lift also offers a fun park and floodlit skiing. The high plateau is also ideal for cross-country skiing and skating! In the region there are over 280km (some with floodlights) parallel trails with cozy guest rooms to linger in! In summer, the hut is ideal for hikes and bike tours! E-bike rental in the village! Romantic natural bathing lake Rubener Teich only 10km. The area also has an extensive network of bridle paths! Visit the landlord's organic farm with about 50 Galloway cattle, 3 pigs, 4 horses, chickens, cats and 3 dogs within 2km.

In winter, you can take the ski lift up, and the landlord will help you transport your luggage with his car. In summer, you can access the hut with your own car (only 1 car) via a 4km forest road. 4 day trips are included in the hut rental, each additional ascent/descent costs €26.

In a wonderfully quiet alpine landscape, completely alone, directly in the Dachstein-West ski and hiking area, about 500m above the middle station of the Hornspitzbahn. In winter, take the four-seater chairlift to the middle station. The landlord will help you transport your luggage with his car. In summer, access is possible with your own car via a 4km forest road. 4 ascents and descents are included in the hut rental, each additional ascent/descent € 22.80. Due to the location on the edge of a raised bog, the air is aromatic and enriched with lots of oxygen, making the hut ideal for asthma sufferers!

Ski area accessible from the hut on skis (500m). Nearest inn 500m (open in winter). Ski school at the valley station, cross-country ski trail 3km away. Shops in town 7km away. In summer, wonderful hikes and trips to the Gosau lakes beckon. There is also a pond above the hut, which provides great cooling in summer!

The hut is located in a quiet, sunny, beautiful alpine landscape, in the middle of the Dachstein-West region, on the Zwieselalm. In summer it can be reached either by car via a toll road (7km forest path) and a 20-minute walk, or via the cable car and a 20-minute walk. Luggage must be carried in a backpack.

Wonderful hikes or mountain bike tours from the hut. Nearest town Gosau 7km. Moor lake 1km. Serviced hut 250m.

Furnishing

The rustic hut has a living room with a seating area and a kitchenette with a wood stove and oven. Electric stove (2 plates), kettle, coffee machine available. Small bedroom with double bed (160cm wide), stairs from the living room to the attic, where there is sleeping space for up to 8 people. There is a shower with hot water (electric boiler) on the side, otherwise water can be fetched from the well in front of the hut. Toilet. In the basement is the old "poacher's hideout". If it's not too dark for you, there's even a sauna there! Electricity available. Seating area in front of the hut, garden with grill, well. Bed linen, towels available.
