Position

On an area of 24,000 m² there are seven comfortable large huts (type SEP-STM) for up to 24 people and six luxurious smaller huts (type SPA-STM) for up to 12 people, as well as a reception hut with an apartment (APA-STM) for up to 10 people on the upper floor and a shop on the ground floor (open during peak season) with bread roll service, drinks, baked goods, groceries, cigarettes. The huts are in a very quiet and sunny location on a high plateau with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, the Ennstal and the Dachstein.

Distances

The huts are in the middle of the family-friendly Galsterberg ski and hiking area, 5km above the town of Pruggern. Accessible by car all year round. Pruggern is in the Ennstal, about 14km from Schladming and only 100km from the festival city of Salzburg. Village shop in Pruggern, supermarket 10km away. The Galsterberg ski area offers 20km of wide, perfectly groomed slopes and is part of the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise with 86 cable cars and lifts and 152km of groomed slopes and is also a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). Access to the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise from Haus im Ennstal in 10km. The 5km long illuminated natural toboggan run (one of the longest in Austria) runs past the huts! Ski school with childcare 300m down the valley from the valley station, easily accessible on skis. Alpine hut near the gondola, après ski in winter, pizzeria in summer: Happyalm. Of course there is also the possibility of cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides. Riding stables and tennis in the village. In front of the sun terrace of the Versorgerhütte there is a 250m2 swimming pond for splashing and playing and a small playground. Table tennis available. Otherwise there is a swimming lake 10km away, golf 15km away or rafting 15km away! High ropes course with team course 13km away. Direct access to the Alpentour Steiermark cycle path possible! Wonderful hiking trails to managed alpine pastures from the house! Managed hut in summer: Wirtshaus im Wald, charging station for your electric car (22kw, Type 2) on site!

Furnishing

The cabins are built entirely from wood and are very comfortable and extremely cosy. Ground floor: Large cabin room (approx. 30m²) with upholstered seating area, satellite TV, WiFi, DVD/CD player, couch and fireplace. The indirect lighting and the chopped old wood create a homely atmosphere. Perfectly equipped kitchen corner with electric stove, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, beer tap (for those barrels that are available on site). High chair and cot (folding travel bed 60x120cm) available on request. Exit to the sun terrace with bench and grill. Bathroom with sauna, 2 showers and whirlpool. 1 toilet. First floor: 2 double rooms, 2 bedrooms for 2-4 people each with 1 double bed and pull-out couch (160x200cm), 2 shower/toilet, 1 toilet. Central heating, some with underfloor heating. Electric shoe dryer available. We ask you not to smoke in the huts!

Furnishing

You will occupy the entire upper floor of the reception hut. The shop on the ground floor is usually open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the high season. The rest of the time you are completely alone in the house. Here you will find 3 bedrooms for 2-4 people each, each with a double bed and pull-out couch (160x200cm). 1 bathroom with shower/toilet. Spacious living room with comfortable couch corner with satellite TV, WiFi. Dining table, kitchen corner with electric stove, oven, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave. Beer tap (for those kegs that are available on site). High chair and cot (folding travel cot 60x120cm) available on request. Small ski depot with electric boot dryer. The apartment has a seating area with a grill outside, by the pond. We ask that you do not smoke in the apartment.

Position

The hut is located in the middle of the top ski area of the Zillertal Arena, on the Gerlosplatte, above several holiday homes, in a quiet, sunny location. Direct access by car. 

Distances

Direct access to the Zillertal Arena ski area from the hut! Strap on your skis and ski from the hut to Zell in Zillertal, a total of 165 kilometers of slopes, state-of-the-art lifts, guaranteed snow until spring. Access to the cross-country ski trail from the hut. Ski school 2km, Filzsteinalm toboggan run 2km. Bread roll service and sports shop nearby. Nearest places to shop Königsleiten 1km, Krimml 10km, Gerlos 11km away. In summer, the region is also a highlight for all those who love the mountains! Hikes or extensive bike tours directly from the hut. If you like action: the Zillertal Arena offers Arena Coaster, Arena Skyliner and Flying Fox, single trails, via ferratas, water experiences such as rafting and canyoning, paragliding and much more! The Durlassboden reservoir is only 3km away. The spring water is over 20 degrees in midsummer and offers wonderful refreshment for splashing around, swimming or pedal boating. There is also a surfing school, sunbathing area and children's playground here! A special hiking tip: the circular hike around the reservoir with refreshment options at the Gasthof Finkau, Bärschlagalm and the Seestüberl on the dam crest. Breathtaking hike: With a drop of 380 meters, the Krimml Waterfalls are among the most impressive natural spectacles in the world!

The double cabin consists of 2 completely separate units. (Part on the left "GER-SBG" and part on the right "LOS-SBG"). You live in the right part. Here you have your own side entrance to the ground floor: cozy living room with seating area, tiled stove, couch and satellite TV. Perfectly equipped kitchenette with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine. Toilet. First floor: 1 double room with satellite TV, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 single room. 2 shower/toilet. Heating with tiled stove and electric. Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels provided. Terrace with seating in front of the cabin. We ask that you do not smoke in the cabin.

Small living room with couch. 1 double room. 2 showers, 2 toilets. In the originally renovated attic you will find 2 small double rooms and in the two roof niches 2 single beds each (can be placed as required). Heating with tiled stove and electric. WiFi available. Position

The hut is located in the middle of the hiking area, in the sunny Lungau, in the rear Murtal, just 1.5 hours from the source of the Mur. The quiet location is ideal for families, there are 2 alpine huts next door, otherwise it is a secluded location.

Distances

Next town Muhr 12.5km, Sticklerhütte 1.5km, Sankt Michael 24.5km. Rotgüldensee 8km. The hut is ideally located for hiking and biking. Every day to a different peak, a serviced hut or a mountain lake directly from the hut. Here, Austria's second longest river meanders along picturesque meanders through the high valley to the Murursprung at 1,989m, where crystal-clear spring water bubbles out of the mountain. You can now climb to the Murtörl or experienced climbers can climb through rocky terrain to the Schmalzscharte (2,444m). From the hut you can go on tours around the Schöderhorn and even into the Großarltal. The Mur cycle path has its first stage here: from the Murursprung it goes comfortably downhill, through forests, past mountain lakes, around 14.5km out to Muhr, and you can return comfortably with the valley bus! Come along with your e-bike! The Sticklerhütte, which is open in summer, has an e-bike charging station!

The hut was newly built in 2016 and has on the ground floor: large, cozy living room with seating area, sofa bed, fireplace for cooking and heating, dining table and kitchenette with sink. 1 shower, 1 toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms, each with a double and single bed. In the anteroom there is a couch that can be pulled out for 2 people if required. Heating with wood stove, hot water with bath stove, solar power. Basement: cool storage cellar for food, refrigerator. Seating area in front of the hut, grill. We ask that you do not smoke in the hut.

Position

Die Hütte liegt in einem kleinen Hüttendorf, in wunderbarer Almlandschaft. Göriach ist bekannt für ein wunderschönes und vor allem sehr sonniges Gebirgstal mit bäuerlichem, dörflichem Charakter. Wanderer und Bergsteiger finden hier das ersehnte Naturerlebnis. Der Alpenverein hat Göriach nun sogar in die Riege der „Bergsteigerdörfer“ aufgenommen. Hier ist das Bewusstsein über den Einklang zwischen Natur und Mensch noch lebendig und man respektiert natürliche Grenzen. Die Hütte liegt am Fuße des Hochgollings, dem mit 2862m höchsten Berg der Niederen Tauern. 

Distances

Serviced hut in the village. The nearest larger towns with shops, swimming pool, tennis, etc. are Mariapfarr in 12km or Tamsweg in 15km. Wonderful hikes or bike rides along the mountain stream to waterfalls and up to small lakes and to the AV refuge hut! 

Furnishing

The cabin is simply and rustically furnished. Living room with seating and wood stove for cooking and heating, one bedroom with 3 beds. First floor: storage room, where up to 4 people can be accommodated. No electricity, solar light, solar cell phone charging station. Diagonally opposite is the small, private bathing cabin with shower (solar boiler 120 litres, solar light) and outhouse.
