Position

This hut is located above Niedernfritz in a sunny, absolutely quiet location, surrounded by meadows and forest. Niedernfritz is a district of Hüttau and is nestled in the legendary Fritztal. The Tennengebirge and the Fritztal mountains with their panoramic Hochgründeck (1,827 m) give the place its impressive setting of rugged peaks and gentle alpine pastures.

Nearest towns Niedernfritz or St. Martin in the Tennengebirge with shops, tennis, swimming lake and restaurants approx. 7km, horse riding 6km, drag lift 7km, Hüttau copper mine 7km, ski amade (Austria's largest ski area) from 10km. Flachau-Wagrain-St. Johann Alpendorf ski area 14km (120 kilometers of perfect slopes and 45 modern cable cars). Long walking paths, tobogganing, ski tours from the house. Horse-drawn sleigh rides in St. Martin. In summer the hut is the ideal starting point for hikes. Go on mountain bike tours in the nearby Tennengebirge and to managed alpine pastures such as the Schwarzeneggalm and further towards Werfenweng! Therme Amadé 13km.

Furnishing

Ground floor: cozy farmhouse parlor with seating area, radio powered by solar power, kitchen corner with wood stove, oven, sink, shower, toilet. Entrance hall with couch and stairs to the upper floor. Refrigerator with water cooling (cold water runs through cooling hose). Upper floor: 2 double rooms, 1 triple room (through room). Attic: 2 bedrooms (1 of which is a through room) under the attic with 2 and 1 beds. Heating and hot water with wood stoves, 3 gas stoves available if required, solar power only for light (no sockets). In front of the house there are wide meadows and wonderful peace, garden seating area with grill. Water tub for cooling food and drinks.
