In the middle of the Dachstein-West ski and hiking area, on a sunny plateau, close to the lifts (only open in winter). In summer you can experience the peace and quiet of nature, the aromatic oxygen-rich air, the wide view of the sunset while barbecuing, while your little adventurers put up their tent. In winter, you can take the ski lift up, and the landlord will help you transport your luggage with his car. In summer, you can access the hut with your own car (only 1 car) via a 4km forest road. 4 day trips are included in the hut rental, each additional ascent/descent costs €26.

In winter, take the four-seater chairlift to the middle station. The landlord will help you transport your luggage with his car. In summer, access is possible with your own car via a 4km forest road. 4 ascents and descents are included in the hut rental, each additional ascent/descent € 22.80. Due to the location on the edge of a raised bog, the air is aromatic and enriched with lots of oxygen, making the hut ideal for asthma sufferers!

Ski area accessible from the hut on skis (500m). Nearest inn 500m (open in winter). Ski school at the valley station, cross-country ski trail 3km away. Shops in town 7km away.
