In a wonderfully quiet alpine landscape, completely alone, directly in the Dachstein-West ski and hiking area, about 500m above the middle station of the Hornspitzbahn. In winter, take the four-seater chairlift to the middle station. The landlord will help you transport your luggage with his car. In summer, access is possible with your own car via a 4km forest road. 4 ascents and descents are included in the hut rental, each additional ascent/descent € 22.80. Due to the location on the edge of a raised bog, the air is aromatic and enriched with lots of oxygen, making the hut ideal for asthma sufferers!

Distances

Ski area accessible from the hut on skis (500m). Nearest inn 500m (open in winter). Ski school at the valley station, cross-country ski trail 3km away. Shops in town 7km away. In summer, wonderful hikes and trips to the Gosau lakes beckon. There is also a pond above the hut, which provides great cooling in summer!

The hut is in a wonderful, secluded location, on the slope above Kitzbühel, right in the Kitzbüheler Horn hiking area. The location is ideal for hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Access by car via the toll road, the car remains on the road above, there are two options: either directly 10 minutes from above or 100 meters in front, then a steep meadow path down to the hut.

Alpine pasture area directly in front of the hut. The next hut with a service is the Alpenhaus (Hornbahn mountain station) 2km away. Enjoy the wonderful panorama from the Kitzbühel Alps over the Großvenediger to the 3,798m high Großglockner! The Alpenhaus is a popular destination in conjunction with the Alpine flower garden. A special nature experience is the new Karstweg, the hiking trail for the soul and the 300-meter-long kids' climbing trail. Your private SPA includes a sauna, exit to the terrace where the stainless steel hot pot is located. Fitness area with weight bench, step board, dumbbells and yoga mat. In front of the chalet there is a sun terrace with a unique view and a Corten steel cooking unit for barbecue and campfire experiences. Also: flat screen TV, sound system, tablet, binoculars for observing wildlife and the starry sky. In the morning, the fresh alpine breakfast is delivered directly to the chalet.
