Position

High above the Enns, between Schladming (Dachstein-Tauern) and Radstadt (Salzburger Sportwelt Amadé) with a wonderful view of the Dachstein massif. The house is surrounded by meadows, very idyllic, quiet and sunny next to the farm with stable, house, small snack station and its own schnapps and pine distillery.

Reiteralm ski area with new cable car and ski school 4km, toboggan run 9km, curling rink and ice skating rink 1.5km, swimming pool 1.5km, bathing lake 4km, bike rental and horse riding 10km, walking and hiking trails from the house, own bread delivery service, inn 1.5km.

The approximately 300-year-old farmhouse has on the ground floor: Large hut room with seating for up to 20 people with tasteful kitchen with electric stove, wood stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave. Playroom for the little ones. Living room with couch corner. Storage room, pantry, 2 toilets. 1st floor: 4 bedrooms with shower/toilet, secluded private part of the old farm owner. Attic: 4 bedrooms, 1 of which is a double with shower/toilet, otherwise a shower/toilet in the hallway. Also: Central heating, satellite TV, radio. Terrace with deck chairs, grill, wide meadows, fish pond, fountain, playground. Visit the stable with cows, donkeys, sheep, piglets with your little ones. The farm's own mountain pine distillery for nature-conscious people, where the boss produces and processes mountain pine oil. Or watch how the finest fruit brandies are produced and bottled in the schnapps distillery.

Local tax currently € 1.20/person/night, energy fee € 80/week, pet € 25/week, final cleaning € 150, bed linen can be rented for € 15 if required. Deposit € 300.

The Galsterberg at a glance
5 cable cars and lifts, around 50 new parking spaces in the vicinity of the gondola valley station, 60 snow-making machines provide a selective improvement in the snow system.
The largest children's land in the region: Anyone who drives through the Gallic ski village (= the region's most exciting children's land) will be surprised - Gauls, Romans and animals move around there. They talk, bark and grunt. Children can experience unforgettable adventures in the Gallic ski village:

The Galsterberg in Pruggern is a small but fine ski area with many possibilities.
Beginners will enjoy easy, flat slopes, while passionate skiers can let off steam on the 1,200 m long Vorderkar piste, which is rightly considered one of the most beautiful slopes in the entire region.
The Galsterbergalm ski area offers 20km of wide, perfectly groomed slopes and is part of the Dachstein-Tauern ski paradise with 86 cable cars and lifts and 152km of groomed slopes and is also a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). 
Access to the Schladming-Dachstein ski paradise from Haus im Ennstal in 9 km. Ski school with childcare at the valley station. The 5 km long illuminated natural toboggan run (one of the longest in Austria) ends at the valley station.

Position

The hut is surrounded by a large garden, in a secluded location near Lake Constance in Styria. In summer (approximately mid-May to October) access is subject to a toll (single toll currently € 3.80 per person).

Distances

Nearest town Aich 5km. There are inns, tennis courts, and a recreational lake. Styrian Lake Constance with lakeside inn (open in summer and winter) 1km. Serviced hut in summer 800m. Ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours from the hut. Dachstein-Tauern ski area, entrance house 7km away. Galsterberg family ski area 10km. Schladming 15km.

The hut has on the ground floor: kitchen-living room with seating area, tiled stove, kitchenette with electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee machine. Living room with seating area and satellite TV. 1 double room, bathroom with double washbasin, shower, underfloor heating. 1 toilet. First floor: 1 four-bed room, 1 double room with couch if required, 1 toilet. Central heating. Ski boot dryer. In front of the hut there is a garden with a grill, deck chairs, and seating area. The cows are milked in the morning and evening in the stable next door.

The Schladming 4-mountain ski area connects the 4 largest Styrian ski mountains - Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. 123 kilometers of slopes and 44 modern cable cars and lifts - nonstop! This is unique, not only in Ski amadé, but also in the whole of Austria. 
The Dachstein glacier and the smaller mountains, such as the charismatic Schneebärenland, promise you “the ultimate in enjoyment”. The offer is rounded off by the family ski areas of Stoderzinken and Galsterberg.
