Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a quiet, secluded location, on the edge of the forest, in the middle of an alpine meadow, on the Postalm. Idyllic nature awaits you here in the middle of the Salzkammergut. In winter, the hut can be reached via a toll road up to 200m away. As of 2024: Winter from Strobl \u20ac 10.00\/person \u20ac 5.00\/child or from Abtenau \u20ac 17.00\/car. Summer from Strobl \u20ac 17.00 per car or from Abtenau \u20ac 13.00\/car. In winter: the toll is refunded when you buy a lift ticket. In summer, you can drive the last 200m to the hut on a forest path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearest town Abtenau 15km or Strobl on Lake Wolfgangsee 15km. Postalm ski area with ski school, fun park, ski rental, high-altitude trails (up to 15km long!), 8 lifts and 20km of groomed slopes within 2km. Leave your car behind: free ski bus service on site! The Postalm is particularly popular with families, and is also ideal for cross-country skiers and ski tourers! In summer, there are circular hiking trails, the via ferrata in the Postalm Gorge, mountain bike tours, swimming under the waterfall or trips to one of the numerous managed huts and to the nearby Salzkammergut. Lake Wolfgangsee can be reached by car in 30 minutes. Fresh farm products are available 1.5km away in summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furnishing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hut has on the ground floor: living room with seating area, couch and kitchenette with wood stove, oven, coffee machine, refrigerator, sink. Extra room with large table, ideal for playing. Cool pantry. 1 double room, shower\/toilet. First floor: 1 double room, 1 four-bed room with double bed and bunk bed, 1 four-bed room with 2 double beds (200x140cm) and bunk bed (extra beds). Wood central heating. In front of the hut there is a meadow, seating area, grill and a wonderful view over the alpine meadow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
