The hut is located in the middle of a large meadow, isolated, at the foot of the Riedingtal in the Salzburg Lungau. It is the ideal starting point for numerous winter and summer activities in this charming natural landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearest town Zederhaus 6km or St. Michael im Lungau with shops, restaurants 16km. Gro\u00dfeck-Speiereck ski area 20km. Katschberg 23km. The Ski amad\u00e9 region (entrance to the Flachauwinkel-Zauchensee-Kleinarl ski area) can be easily reached via the Tauern tunnel in 20 minutes (23km). Ideal starting point for ski tours from the hut. The Riedingtal is a nature park with a healthy high-altitude climate, with managed alpine pastures and quiet mountain lakes in summer. You can take the valley bus to the traffic-calmed Riedingtal. Numerous large and small lakes are located in this attractive nature reserve. Many managed alpine pastures with homemade products invite you to take a break. Mountain hikes to the nearby peaks offer views as far as the Gro\u00dfglockner!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
