Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This hut is located in the middle of the Postalm between Abtenau and Strobl on Lake Wolfgang. On an alpine meadow, in a sunny, secluded location. The neighboring huts are about 200m away. The hut can be reached up to 200m via a toll road. As of 2024: Winter from Strobl \u20ac 10.00\/person \u20ac 5.00\/child or from Abtenau \u20ac 17.00\/car. Summer from Strobl \u20ac 17.00 per car or from Abtenau \u20ac 13.00\/car. In winter: the toll is refunded when you buy a lift ticket. In winter access up to 200m, in summer you can drive the last 200m to the hut via a forest path\/meadow path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearest town Abtenau 15km or Strobl on Lake Wolfgangsee 15km. Postalm ski area with ski school, fun park, ski rental, high-altitude trails (up to 15km long!), 8 lifts and 20km of groomed slopes within 1.5km. Leave your car behind: free ski bus service! The Postalm is particularly popular with families, and is also ideal for cross-country skiers and ski tourers! In summer, there are circular hiking trails, the via ferrata in the Postalm Gorge, mountain bike tours, swimming under the waterfall or trips to one of the numerous managed huts and to the Salzkammergut. Lake Wolfgangsee can be reached by car in 30 minutes. Fresh farm products are available within 1.5km in summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hut has on the ground floor: living room with seating area, couch and kitchenette with wood stove, oven, sink (hot\/cold), coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator. A four-bed room with double bed (1.60m) and bunk bed and passage to 1 small double room. 1 shower, hair dryer, 1 toilet. First floor: 1 double room and 1 four-bed room (2 double beds). Heating with wood stove. Hot water with gas instantaneous water heater. In front of the hut covered seating area, lawn with play equipment, grill, fountain, deck chairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
