Position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hut is located above Kitzb\u00fchel, directly in the Kitzb\u00fcheler Horn ski area, in the Trattalmmulde. In winter, travel with the Kitzb\u00fcheler Hornbahn to the "Alpenhaus" mountain station, from here a short descent on skis to the hut or you can easily take the Alpenhaus chairlift down into the hollow and walk only about 100m to the hut. You park your car in the lift car park (fees apply). The location is ideal for sporty skiers but also for families and the hut is also easily accessible for non-skiers. Tip: You can order a piste machine from the mountain railways in advance to take your luggage from the Alpenhaus to the hut. Costs as of 2022: 1 hour \u20ac163 (approx. 40 minutes are charged, so \u20ac125) and \u20ac0.42\/kg each (1 suitcase 20kg therefore \u20ac8.40).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ski area directly in front of the hut, children's slope (baby lift, drag lift, conveyor belt) directly below the hut and easily accessible on foot. Next serviced hut Alpenhaus (chair lift top station). Kitzb\u00fchel 7km (accessible in winter by cable car during operating hours).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furnishing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hut has on the ground floor: a cozy living room with seating area, kitchenette with electric stove (2 hotplates), fridge\/freezer, wood stove, oven, coffee machine (Cafissimo) and exit to the covered sun terrace with a direct view of the ski slope, cozy tiled stove with couch (extra bed), seating area and satellite TV. First floor: under the attic 2 double rooms, 1 small room with 2 mattresses, 1 shower\/toilet. Heating with wood and tiled stove or electric (bedroom), hot water boiler. Towels\/bed linen must be brought along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a total of 53 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts, Bergbahn AG Kitzb\u00fchel is the largest cable car company in Austria and transports many happy winter sports fans to the snow-covered slopes, pistes, ski huts and snack stations every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
